Brookdale Bath was not as clean as the other place. There were a lot of things there that needed repairs. Things looked very worn out, and the elevator was dirty. You went out of their garden area, and employees must have gotten out there and had cigarettes, and there was a cup with all these cigarettes. There was a lot of dirt and leaves and stuff, and around the door it looked like it hadn't been swept up for a long time. It was just not a good image. And they were actually $1,000 more on the regular price than the other place. The staff member who gave the tour was fine. She gave us the information. She was nice. It just didn't have that sincerity about their care of the patients as much as them trying to get it rented.

I loved Brookdale Bath, but they wouldn't accept my sister. The facility was very clean and attractive. The atmosphere was attractive and friendly. The dining area was open and attractive.

My mom just went there at Brookdale Bath, so I visit her several times a week. I like the friendliness, the cleanliness of it, and their care. The staff is friendly, caring, and helpful. It's clean. It's an old building. The shower and faucets are showing age or something. My mom's room is a typical studio. The layout is good. The actual dining room where they eat is a large area and it's clean. It's nice that it has a fireplace in there.

The caregivers are overworked, they make promises they can't keep. Residents sit in thier own waste for hours. They could care less about the Residents or staff

Brookdale Bath has the best pricing point with the most care. The staff seemed very helpful and knowledgeable, and the rooms were a nice size, and very home-like. There were a lot of sitting areas outside of the room, and it was very clean.

I like the lady that toured us at Brookdale Bath. She was absolutely wonderful. She was the sweetest woman, and I thought the staff was very pleasant. I thought the facility was beautiful. Because it has so many windows, it was really warm there. Maybe it had a temperature control issue. We went on a very sunny day, so it was really hot. We had a tour of the memory care side, and it seemed very sad. It seems like a very cramped space. There's a lot of furniture and items kind of sitting in the hallways. It's not an issue of the staff. I think the staff were wonderful that we got to meet. It definitely had an odor. I think you're going to have that from time to time, but the entire ward had an odor. It seems every patient that we passed does not seem particularly happy. At least the common areas for the patients do not have a lot of room to move around. So it seems like maybe the patients spend a lot more time in their rooms. The common areas don't seem very inviting for the patients, so that turns me off. They were trying to put a lot together in a very cramped space. It just wasn't inviting. The building is beautiful from the outside, and it was very beautiful on the inside. But when you actually got into the patient areas, it was not inviting. That was my impression of the place. But the woman who gave us the tour, she was lovely, very kind, and the staff was very nice. I didn't like the areas where the patients were. So that was my impression. They offered us popcorn there.

The staff of Brookdale Bath was very nice, very friendly, and very informative. They told me a lot of things I had learned. One of them is that if your spouse had been in a war, you were eligible for support from them for housing. I did not know that. Nobody ever told me and that was a big thing for me. The rooms looked clean, nice, very hospitable, and easy to get around in. I liked it. They have a big dining room which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In your private area, you have a kitchenette where you can have a counter with a microwave and a sink. It's nice, so if you want to just take something and warm it up, you could do that. You have your own bathroom too, and then there's a little sitting area. I had a friend that was there quite a while ago and she loved it. She thought it was great and she liked her privacy. When she didn't want to be out of the loop, she could go out and socialize. If she wanted to go somewhere else, we would go somewhere for lunch or go shopping or whatever the case is. She was very, very happy and they had good, healthy food choices.

I chose Brookdale Bath for my husband because of the feel of it when I walked in. It doesn't feel clinical; it feels very home-like. It's like going into a nice living room. The people there are just so nice. Everybody was nice every place I went, but Brookdale Bath just had that feeling of having somebody putting their arms around you when you walk in that lobby. Where his room is, it's very accessible to the main lobby, so he isn't down a long hallway someplace. It just feels good. He's in both assisted living and memory care. The staff is very attentive, very caring, and very gentle, and they know what they're doing. It's very clean.

I chose Brookdale Bath for my mom. Its fine, and the staff is OK. My mom has been there awhile now, shes adjusted, and they know how to care for her. They have a couple of bus trips and they keep them active at their level. They have a small kitchen, and its a balanced meal. Theyre way too expensive.

Everything at Brookdale Bath was fine and clean, and the people were nice. The big deal is just the cost. They gave us a calendar of activities, but we did not notice any activities going on. Everything was laid out nicely and well-organized. The staff were really well-informed, told us everything we were looking for, and answered all of our questions. Their facilities were nice.

I visited Brookdale Bath, and the receptionist toured me around. She knew the residents. What concerned me was that I did not see people gathering together in a common area. There wasn't a sense of camaraderie. Instead, they were isolated in their rooms and apartments, which were not spacious. I didn't even try to eat there, but the dining room looked good. They had bingo and card games. Unfortunately, I noticed that the activities weren't engaging the people there.

My brother is living in Brookdale Bath (Formerly Brookdale Place of Bath). It has a good environment and good atmosphere. The people are very nice. They have everything that he needs. He has got a nice room and it has a nice facility if you want to go down and visit with the other tenants. It's close to everything and he likes it. I've been up there a couple of times to see him and he seems happy and adjusting well. I'm really happy with it too.

The staff was helpful at Brookdale. The rooms weren't big enough for me. I didn't see any activities. The dining area was OK.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to share your thoughts about our community. We realize that our rooms are smaller than many expect. Most of our residents are downsizing, which can be a difficult transition. Residents do not as many items in our setting, as we provide many items and activities!

I am currently at Brookdale Place of Bath. The staff has great attitude, it's not just enough of them. The food is pretty good really. They just need more staff. Sometimes you don’t get serve for long, long time because they don’t have enough people.

Brookdale Place of Bath was clean and attractive, but it wasn't what we were looking for. The staff was lovely, they were very helpful, and it wasn't them that didn't make us want to put my mom there, it just wasn't a good match for her. I did see their menu, and it was very good.

The residents at Brookdale Place do not seem active at all. My aunt is 80 years old, but these people seem much older. From what I could see, the people working there are very kind and gracious. The rooms are fine. They had great common areas, but it just looked like it needed some attention. The wallpaper is peeling. It just looked a little tired to me. There is an odor, like a cleaning odor. It's not a bad odor. I know that accidents happen, but that was kind of off-putting to me.

Mom is in Brookdale. The people there are very caring. They keep her clean, and they're very nice to her. Their main concern is the residents. That's all I care about. It's well-kept, it's bright, and it's a nice size. She has her own private bathroom and a little kitchenette. They have all kinds of activities. They take them out, and they go out.

We also visited Sunrise and we thought it was also a beautiful facility and we loved it, but then again it was the money issue why we didn't go there. It was a beautiful facility and the rooms are spacious. The people were very kind and very nice. If you got the money, this would be the facility that I would recommend.

My mom is doing really well at Brookdale Place of Bath. The rooms are really nice. They had a little patio where they can sit. They seem like they do a lot of activities and I think mom has been doing more than she ever has. They have art activities. They go out to parks. The staff seems very nice, very profession and very caring. They have always been communicative with us. They call us when anything is wrong. They are very responsive. Everybody seems to have a nice sense of humor. The food is good and their dining room is nice. It's a locked facility and an alarm goes off when a person takes too long to get to the door. But it's a pleasant place and I recommend them to others.

My mother liked Brookdale Place of Bath very much. What she liked the best was that it was small. I think there were only between thirty four to forty four residents there. They were close to our home. We've met all the staff; the nursing, the director, everyone on the board, and she liked everyone very much. It was very clean. They showed us several different types of rooms and we had no problem going there.
