"Right now, I'm in rehab at Mckinney Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. The food is wonderful. It's not fancy but it's filling and they give you a good amount. It's an older facility, and it's not really fancy inside. The rooms are large. There's two-person rooms and one-person rooms depending on what your insurance will pay for. They're very nice and they're kept very clean. I have been really impressed by the cleanliness. They've got a good staff. It seems to be very stable. There's not a lot of come-and-go. Most of the staff have been here for a while. Some of them have been here all three times that I have been here, and that's probably in a seven- or eight-year period. Being in the rehab part of it, I don't do too many of the activities. But they keep me pretty busy doing exercises and walking in the hallway and so forth. The value for money is good because I'm getting good care."

"A building is just a building, what makes a place great is the staff, and founders plaza has a great, caring staff. I said I would never put my husband in a nursing home, but after taking care of my husband for four years and him losing his voice, he can no longer walk I had to eat crow and do something. Thank God I found Founders Plaza in Wylie. The food is good. The place is clean and the staff is wonderful. If you have the hard decision to put a loved one in a nursing home founders should be your choice, you will have no regrets with founders plaza wylie."

"My husband has been a resident at Park Manor since November 2021. The food is pretty good, like home cooked meals. My husband doesn't participate in Activities but Karen is very good at her job. His room is cleaned, bed changed. The staff is very good to him. Juanita & Wanda have been with him from the beginning & love him. Zee is very good to my husband. She watches him when he is by the Nurses desk. Frea & Ayella & Mulu are wonderful with him. There are more staff members that are wonderful to him. I wish I could name everyone, but I can't remember everyone's name. They all treat him like family. They all call him PaPa. Thank you to everyone that deals with my husband. Great Facility & Staff 💞"

"My mom and dad were both at Garnet Hill, so I'm really quite familiar with it. Also, my brother was actually in Garnet Hill back in the fall, so I was up there recently. It's very clean, and very nice, and all the staff are very pleasant. It doesn't smell, and they seem to keep it really clean. I have no complaints about it. It's hard to give anybody a five, but we were very pleased there with the food and the care. Most of the staff members were good, but some weren't, but their food was quite good."

"Its a nice place. Place is kept clean. Meds. and Meals are on time. Nurses and Aides are helpful. Housekeeping is good. And the Administrator will personally work with you on anything you may need him to. I thank everyone here for being so respectful. They have on the go activities and in-house activities. Im a long term resident and only 57 years old. But i so need the care thats provided."

"They never answer the phone when you call to check on your love one and never get a call back when you leave a message. If you want your love one to get descent care I would not recommend this nursing home. Never get a call back and always get hung up on when you call to check on your love one and they are always putting other patients clothes on my spouse when he has his own clean clothes in his closet that has his names marked in his own clothes. They don't take the time to read the names in the clothes to make sure they are putting the right clothes on your love one body. They need to take time to read the names in the clothes before they dress the patients."

"My Mom was moved here for skilled nursing after she fell and broke her hip. I was impressed from the admission process with Carmen throughout my Mom's entire stay of approximately 3 weeks getting rehab. They were responsive, friendly, caring, and they treated my Mom with respect. I cannot say enough good things about this facility and the staff as well. Everyone there seems happy. We had a great experience here and if the situation warrants skilled nursing again, we would choose this facility again."

" I stayed in this facility for 3 weeks. The room was spaciousness with a lovely view. Housekeeping came in daily to clean it, floors, bathroom, bedding and surfaces. This facility does not have the smell or atmosphere of a nursing home. My daughter chose this place for me. She said she went to all the facilities in the area and turned around and walked out without further inspection. Highland Meadows was the only one she toured and was impressed with the atmosphere. The doctor and his assistant are amazing, gentle, with the very best bedside manner I've ever encountered. They studied my case and history and made physicians orders that met my special needs and they kept me out of pain so I could heal. Except for two days, they visited me every day for 20 days to monitor my progress and made certain the nurses were following their physicians orders. The nurses were kind and helpful. There are specialty nurses for certain needs such as wound care. Everyone had a cheerful attitude. The personal care staff were very knowledgeable and attentive and there was no one I didn't like. I had one incident that caused an issue when there was a delay in the nurse call button being answered in a timely manner. The issue was addressed by the supervisor. They are generous with the food, and they receive visitors with open arms. I truly felt like everyone had my best interest at heart. The therapies are excellent and one weekend PT told me he works full time at another facility and fills in at several other nursing facilities and none of them even come close to being as good as this place. Highland Meadows tries very hard to provide a safe, pleasant place to heal. "

"I felt I needed to write a review, because I know that many times reviews on nursing homes are only done when there are problems and no nursing home is perfect. However, the Belmont is truly a wonderful place and not the first facility my loved one has been at. The responsiveness at this facility is commendable. The staff treats my son and myself like family. It is a really pretty place and it is quiet, nothing to dislike at all. "

"My husband was in Belterra Health and Rehabilitation for physical therapy. It was OK, but the rooms were a little small, and the bed was not comfortable. The liaison was very friendly, and they have a lot of activities. I didn't like the food. When they dismissed my husband, they just rolled him to the front door in a wheelchair, took the wheelchair back, and left him with a cane."

"All are great. Staff excellent Rooms are good. Our family has been with this facility for many years and have 2 family members their now. They have awsome people their who are working from their hearts. But you will never will find the perfect place but this is almost there. They are giving a 100 percent to all. Its a great place and would recomend it for any. The care you get for them is good. They all will become like your family. Its a great place and a good Christian place for all. The admin and workers go above and beyond to do all for your loved ones. And they have the best physical therphy dept that we have ever worked with. Let Beacon Harbor be a part of your Loved ones Journey to rehab or skilled Nursing. It will be a place where they will feel they are at home and God has placed them with a loving new family. After many years of dealing with long term/rehab it has been a answer of prayer for us that God led us to Beacon Harbor. Check them out they are newly redone inside and are soon going to redo rooms. "My mother-in-law has moved into Rowlett Health and Rehabilitation Center. They're good, and the nurses seem attentive to her when she needs something. Everything else seems fine, clean, and organized. They're friendly people. Her room is adequately spaced, but we're a big family, so we didn't all fit in there when we visited. It looks well lit. We're content with the care she's been receiving. They communicate very well with us."

"I can not say enough great things about Broadmoor! Rachel is the best of the best. She knew us by name and helped make the last 10 days of my mother in laws life as pleasant as possible while always making sure we were also ok and taken care of. The nurses-Kimberly, Maria, and several others that I apologize I just don’t remember their names-were incredible in a very difficult situation and time. Any concerns we had were addressed and corrected immediately. We did get married at the Broadmoor many years ago when my mother in law had fallen and broken several bones and was there for rehab so to come for circle and be able to do hospice there was a blessing for all of us! Thank you all so much for everything and I apologize for not remembering all names, it was a rough 10 days."
