We visited Mckinney Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. We liked that the patients were interacting with each other and that they were active. We liked that not everybody was in wheelchairs. We loved the rooms. They were small, but they weren't too small, and the fact that my mother could have her recliner and her TV, whereas in the other nursing homes, she couldn't have had that. We would have been comfortable with it. We liked the way they did the meal service. They had a set menu, and then they had a list of things they could have if they didn't want what was on the menu. They had snacks for them throughout the day. We liked the whole thing, but there were no openings there.

Right now, I'm in rehab at Mckinney Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. The food is wonderful. It's not fancy but it's filling and they give you a good amount. It's an older facility, and it's not really fancy inside. The rooms are large. There's two-person rooms and one-person rooms depending on what your insurance will pay for. They're very nice and they're kept very clean. I have been really impressed by the cleanliness. They've got a good staff. It seems to be very stable. There's not a lot of come-and-go. Most of the staff have been here for a while. Some of them have been here all three times that I have been here, and that's probably in a seven- or eight-year period. Being in the rehab part of it, I don't do too many of the activities. But they keep me pretty busy doing exercises and walking in the hallway and so forth. The value for money is good because I'm getting good care.

I recently visited a friend who is a resident at this facility...I noticed the good changes ...Clean environment..No bad smelling along the hall...Courteous staff....Nice quiet and very pleasant feeling I got all the time I spent there visiting.... My friend is happy there ....

I am a resident at Mckinney Health are and Rehab and it’s been a good stay. I would love to go home but I need help and this is the best place to be to give me the help I need. Holly has helped me so much.

My mom is staying at McKinney Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. The staff is excellent. The only negative is the food. The facility location is very easy to get to, and it's in a quiet area. It's in a good location, and the rooms are very nice. The dining area is adequate, not exceptional. What's exceptional are the nursing and physical therapy care. My mom is staying there.

McKinney Healthcare and Rehab is an excellent facility. My son has been in other facilities over the last several years. He has very extensive and complicated issues. When he went into this facility he received everyone's full attention. Issues were solved quickly and with input from all the players. This has been the most positive experience my son has had. The good care and attitude starts with the administrator and goes right down the line. Some amazingly caring people. It is a tough job!!! I definitely recommend this facility.
