"Lakeside Health and Wellness is a rehabilitation center, but it's also a nursing home. They're pretty amazing. They had clean facilities. They took really good care of my grandmother. The staff was very personable, they knew her by name, and they formed a personal relationship with her. The rooms were big, clean, and modern. I used to go eat there with her, and they had really good food. Our experience was great. If she had to go back into a nursing home for any reason in the future, I would want something similar to that one, if not that one. I feel like, just across the board, nursing homes are crazy expensive, but they were actually cheaper than the rest. I couldn't find anything cheaper for better."

"My grandmother was a resident at Mesquite Tree until she went to her final resting place. Rest in Peace Mimi. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mesquite Tree. When I brought my Mimi to this facility, she was literally in very bad shape. She had come from a facility that was neglecting her and verbally abusing my grandmother. When we walked in she was given so much love, attention and her medical needs were taken care of right away. The CNA's at Mesquite Tree were mind blowing over the top amazing. They made her feel right at home and loved her like she was there own. The nurses went above and beyond to literally nurse her back to health. This facility saved my grandmother's life more in more ways than one. Mesquite Tree was the fifth and final facility she was in, And i can tell you from experience that i could had put the other 4 places all together and Mesquite Tree would had run circles around all those put together. Never judge a book by it's cover because my grandmother was in a few places that were so beautiful on the outside and had all the perks and whistles but there staff and there management were truly the most non caring and neglectful people on the inside. Mesquite Tree may not be the most beautiful place on the outside but the love and the care they give on the inside is by far the most amazing thing and i am so grateful and thankful that my mimi was able to live the last chapter of her life being cared for by the most genuine staff that gave her so much love and care on a daily basis. It still warms my heart. "

"I was in this facility for a few days and had a great time with the staff. When I did my daily walk around in my big blue walker, someone was always with me encouraging me. The room was set at a very comfortable temperature very clean. My stay was very pleasant."

" I stayed in this facility for 3 weeks. The room was spaciousness with a lovely view. Housekeeping came in daily to clean it, floors, bathroom, bedding and surfaces. This facility does not have the smell or atmosphere of a nursing home. My daughter chose this place for me. She said she went to all the facilities in the area and turned around and walked out without further inspection. Highland Meadows was the only one she toured and was impressed with the atmosphere. The doctor and his assistant are amazing, gentle, with the very best bedside manner I've ever encountered. They studied my case and history and made physicians orders that met my special needs and they kept me out of pain so I could heal. Except for two days, they visited me every day for 20 days to monitor my progress and made certain the nurses were following their physicians orders. The nurses were kind and helpful. There are specialty nurses for certain needs such as wound care. Everyone had a cheerful attitude. The personal care staff were very knowledgeable and attentive and there was no one I didn't like. I had one incident that caused an issue when there was a delay in the nurse call button being answered in a timely manner. The issue was addressed by the supervisor. They are generous with the food, and they receive visitors with open arms. I truly felt like everyone had my best interest at heart. The therapies are excellent and one weekend PT told me he works full time at another facility and fills in at several other nursing facilities and none of them even come close to being as good as this place. Highland Meadows tries very hard to provide a safe, pleasant place to heal. "

"I had a friend that stayed at Caraday of Mesquite until she passed away. The staff were so compassionate and caring. I appreciated all they did for her and her family and friends. I feel that they went above and beyond with giving her everything we could ask for. "

"My wife is moving to Crestwood on Wednesday. It looks like the typical nursing home, but it is pretty clean and it looks like it is well managed. It has everything that my wife needs right now. The staff is very nice and caring. She will be in a room which is not huge, but enough for a dresser and a chair. They share a bathroom with each other. "

"My mother was at Edgewood Rehabilitation And Care Center for 21 days. The care was very good. They did all they could for my mother and were very helpful. The interaction with the staff was excellent. My mother's room had two beds, but she was the only one in the room at the time. They had sections of the building for recreation and socialization. They also had an exercise room where they had a variety of equipment. They would take my mother to these rooms, give her socialization, and work on getting her to walk again."

"They never answer the phone when you call to check on your love one and never get a call back when you leave a message. If you want your love one to get descent care I would not recommend this nursing home. Never get a call back and always get hung up on when you call to check on your love one and they are always putting other patients clothes on my spouse when he has his own clean clothes in his closet that has his names marked in his own clothes. They don't take the time to read the names in the clothes to make sure they are putting the right clothes on your love one body. They need to take time to read the names in the clothes before they dress the patients."

"The facility is clean and well maintained and provides a family atmosphere. The outdoor facilities provides an alternative for visiting with my loved one. (Lunch or an afternoon milkshake enjoying the sunshine and a quite visit outside.) The therapy team are excellent with the Residents. They are focused with getting the Resident up and moving and assisting with gaining their strength. If you need therapy, Willowbend is the place to go. The entire staff at Willowbend are always ready to assist with the Resident and answered my questions and provided me with the emotional support I needed to know my loved one would be well taken care of when I was not there. There is always bingo. The residents love it. Therapy does group activities with the residents, while providing interaction for the Resident. I would recommend Willowbend if you are in need of a new home for your loved one. The transition is hard, but you will get the assurance needed that they are being will cared for by the staff."

"My mom has been at Royse City Health and Rehab for about 2 years now...I absolutely love this facility...My mom first went there with the beginning stages of dementia...She is now in the final stages...The entire staff is so caring and helpful..I have never had a problem being updated on her care by her nurses..They go above and beyond regarding the care for the residents... This facility is very clean and updated. .The financial office has always been there for me to make sure her Medicaid is up to date and helps me if any problems arise..She is now going through the final stages with Hospice there and I can honestly say this facility has given my mother the best care and I am so thankful for them."
