My wife is moving to Crestwood on Wednesday. It looks like the typical nursing home, but it is pretty clean and it looks like it is well managed. It has everything that my wife needs right now. The staff is very nice and caring. She will be in a room which is not huge, but enough for a dresser and a chair. They share a bathroom with each other.

I've been in Free State Crestwood a couple of times about six months ago. It was very organized and clean. The lady that I talked to was very nice and thorough. The bedrooms looked nice. It was nice that they had a bathroom and shower for her. I think they have 24 suites, but my mom really wanted a simpler one and not so many people. They did not have a lot of good reviews and also my mom may not want that many people around. My mom does not play bingo and most of the time she will be spending on her religion. She's an artist and she do portraits for people, designs stationary prints for people, and so she is busy doing that and won't have time to play bingo. She is a Christian scientist and has not been to the doctor for 45 years. She does not take any medication at all and she never has.

There is no way to describe how bad this place is. From management which I know of 4 administrators in the last couple of years. Just look around and see how many residents are walking? Not many, there is a reason for this. Lack of care.

I was not satisfied with the Treatment the elderly received at this facility. Thestaff gave no effort to try and make the elderly comfortable in any way. They would let the residence cry for help and never offered to assist them. They were always dirty and smelled horrible. They were never showed any kindness. And anytime I tried to help one of the staff yelled at me. They were always so rude I dreaded even going to see my loved one.
