"this place was excellent they took care of my mom they were right there when she needed something ... they took very care of other patients as well. the activity director had so many cute ideas for them to do ... the staff was pleaseant andthey explained everything to you when you brought your family or friend in to have them take care of them i reccommend this place to all. A matter of fact when i get sick and old im going there "

"The nursing staff was very professional and willing to go above to help you out. The staff was excellent at assisting patients when they are recovering. I really liked the food especially the breakfast. The therapist are very well trained and will to go out of their way to assist you, Their goal is to get you home here at Heartland of Mentor. I would recommend this facility to anyone!! "

"Had a loved one in this facility a few years back and it was a very nice place... But now A very mixed bag. Some staff are attentive and do the work while others do not. Don't count on the social workers to give you the information you need. One was really good and the other not so much. Evening assistance is poor at best. Even if a superior tells you that something will be done... Don't count on it, keep an eye on things. I do not think the right hand knows what the left hand is doing!!!"

"I was a resident in the Chardon Healthcare Center for 17days. The nurses and staff were all very friendly and cheerful which helps a patient feel better. One staff member particularly stood out from the crowd and was exceptionally kind and very Caring , namely, Ms. Angel Watson. The floors were dry or wet moped regularly and the facility was kept clean and tidy. Food was pretty good most days."

"My dad was admitted here after major surgery in Nov 2013. I cannot say enough how wonderful the nursing staff, physical therapy team and the administration are at this facility! The nurses and staff provide such personalized treatment and are always so helpful, attentive and go far from the what is expected of them to help and heal. The facility is such a friendly, clean, welcoming place and I have never worried for a moment that my dad is not getting the care he needs and deserves. It gives my family great comfort to know that at any time we can call and get in touch with the nursing staff and they are more than willing to answer all our many questions and give us an update on his progress and condition. I highly recommend this nursing facility for those looking for outstanding care for their loved ones! "

"My grandma and grandpa were both at Heartland of Willoughby (which used to be Manor Care Willoughby) and I was very pleased with their care. They received great care from the nurses and nursing assistants, their room was clean, the building did not smell at all and was clean, and everyone was very nice. I would recommend Heartland of Willoughby! "

"My sister was at Ohio Living Breckenridge Village. It was very good. Everyone knew what they were doing. It was very well-kept, very neat, and very orderly. The grounds were very beautiful. Everything was in its place. The staff was very knowledgeable and very eager to help. My sister was in rehab, so she was doing therapy in walking and doing steps, just getting her back to where she could be more mobile. The food was in the middle of the road; it was more like hospital food."

"The staff and especially the therapists were excellent! I went to Heather Hill unable to stand or walk, and ten weeks later I walked out under my own power. I highly recommend them. I am very grateful to the people of Heather Hill for helping me get my life back. They became like family to me. "

"My brother moved to Madison Healthcare. His room is average and the upkeep is good. I like that there's a doctor on staff, a physical therapist is there on staff, and a psychiatrist on staff. The vision and dental can come in to assist, so that was a plus compared to where he was. My brother is getting physical therapy. He has severe dementia and he's not very active but they have crafts and games. They were playing cards yesterday when I was there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. He's 30 minutes away, so I only get to visit on the weekends. But I called several times during the day, and they were always informative, giving me step by step about his day. If he had any episodes, aggressiveness, or anything like that, they are very transparent with how his care is going. The building has a little bit of wear and tear, but it's nothing that is concerning, just a little bit of paint would help."

"I was in Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing & Rehab. It was clean, the food wasn't too bad except for me being diabetic, and it was a little too starchy for me. They made chili soup a couple of times and barbecued rib. Those two meals were pretty good. The staff is excellent, they don't have a lot of permanent employees, they have some on every shift, but mostly they rely on staffing agencies to send in nurses when they need them. They work 12-hour days, three days a week, and then they're off for four days. If you needed help, you didn't get it immediately. The rooms were cleaned every day, trash was taken out, the floor was mopped, and things were wiped down. They had different activities, but I never went to them because I didn't want to be exposed to COVID-19. But they have bingo, and they have an entertainment director."

"My mom has been in Altercare for the last month. The facility was very clean and her occupational and physical therapy have been amazing! She has progressed very nicely under their care. The support staff has been very kind and easy to work with! I would highly recommend Altercare in Mayfield Village, Ohio for skilled nursing rehabilitation."

"This is the nicest nursing facility I have ever seen! Most nursing homes smeml terribke but this one smells okay. The staff is very nice and friendly and there is adequate staffing."

"The rooms at Blossom Hill Health Care Residence were mostly double-occupancy and there were also single-occupancies. They're not nearly as big as the room in my mother's current community. The staff member was good, they answered all my questions, and they were very helpful. My mom could probably go there if she declines. They have physical therapy, and other activities for the residents. They have amenities like a spacious grounds and walking paths."
