I would recommend Homestead II to anybody. The whole experience for my husband and myself was wonderful. The staff was very caring and kind-hearted. Everybody from the office staff down to the kitchen staff was just so helpful and I felt comfortable with everything they did. If I was visiting my husband during mealtime, they always provided me a tray and it was always good. It was really good. The dietitians were up on things on what kind of food the patients needed. I thought the food was terrific. The building itself is really old. It's not in disrepair. It's just that it's an older building, so you would have to expect that it's not going to be bright, shiny new. They keep the patients very busy. The patients love Bingo. There was a library. They had an area in front of the nurse's station with a big TV. So, a lot of patients like to do that.
