"My father is staying at Concord Village Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation. I can't get in there because of COVID. The only thing I can say is they have great communication with the families. The staff will call us and let us know what's going on. My dad said the food is terrible, but other than that I don't know anything else. It's a new facility, so it's beautiful. The surroundings are nice. Right now, he's still in the rehab level, but he will be going to nursing care. He is bedridden right now, so he's not partaking in any activities."

"My sister-in-law was in this facility at the end of her life and overall we were very pleased with her care. So pleased that 2 years later we volunteer to entertain the patent every other month or so. I am actually at the facility now and it is spotless, no bad odor and staff are up and about. We hope we won't need its services but if we ever did, we would use Altercar of Mentor again Why four stars? We'll when a loved one is sick, staff can ALWAYS be faster and meals can ALWAYS be tastier. "

"Mentor Way Nursing & Rehab Center wasn't real modern, but I got good care there. The food was mediocre. The physical therapy department was excellent. They kept it pretty clean. I was satisfied."

"My father was a resident there for the final two months of his life. Brain cancer left him unable to do a lot until the staff here started working with him. They truly made a difference in the quality of life he had while he was there. The staff treated him with dignity and respect and were incredible to be around. I wouldn't hesitate to move a family member there should the need arise."

"My mom is in Chardon Healthcare Center right now for rehab. They have a very good physical therapy and occupational therapy department. They're very helpful and knowledgeable. They were consistent the whole time that she was there, and helped train me for her to go home so that I could care for her home. The food was good and the care was to be expected. They were shorthanded so it would take the aides a little longer to help her with going to the bathroom and things. But it's shorthanded everywhere, that's the norm now. Medicare paid for it, but to stay there for long would cost $9,000 a month. They had a lobby area and a sitting area where they serve coffee to the residents and visitors."

"Most staff friendly, generally clean. Some poor experiences with 1-2 of the aides that were providing care (slow to take relative to the bathroom when needed). "

"Had a loved one in this facility a few years back and it was a very nice place... But now A very mixed bag. Some staff are attentive and do the work while others do not. Don't count on the social workers to give you the information you need. One was really good and the other not so much. Evening assistance is poor at best. Even if a superior tells you that something will be done... Don't count on it, keep an eye on things. I do not think the right hand knows what the left hand is doing!!!"

"I just moved my mom into Mapleview and I have been nothing but impressed. She is so well taken care of and the staff has been so communicative. Kelly is the highlight of the admissions process as she makes the transition so easy. We are so happy to have the Mapleview team taking care of my mom - especially during these tough times that we cannot go in and help take care of her ourselves. "

"Blossom Hill Care Center is serving its purpose right now. It is family-operated and large. The rooms are fine, and the staff is accommodating and very friendly. This place has pretty good staffing 90% of the time. It has lots of activities, and their activities staff is very good. They are now starting a small program for the dementia residents who actually don't do well in large group environments. "
