"My mom is a long-term resident who has dementia. I couldn’t be more pleased with Viera Del Mar. i am less than a mile away, so I visit often at various times and have never found anything concerning regarding the staff or facility. They are extremely attentive and patient. Medically, they acted in less than 5 minutes to get my mom to the hospital when she began to show signs of a stroke. Even the neurosurgeon praised their fast response. When she returned several days later, she was warmly welcomed. I am so thankful!!"

"My mother moved to the Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Melbourne. It's very neat, clean, and modern. And the food is good, my mother says, and they give her everything she needs as far as health and personal care. The staff has been great. They call me if they need to. Otherwise, they talk to me when I'm there and they have a monthly review of each resident. And if I'm not able to make it, they will conference me at my home. The room is shared. It is just like a basic hospital room, and my mother is near the window, which she enjoys because she could see out. It's all on one floor. There is furniture in there that you can use. The bathroom is attached and they have that curtain screen in the middle to segregate the patients. But it's neat and clean. They have activities, bingo, and other sort of such board games. They have crafts. There's a common area like a wing, and they have coffee, tea, and hot chocolate every morning for the residents to get together and talk. So, there are opportunities to interact among the residents."

"My husband ended up at the Indian River Center. Unfortunately, he was only there for two weeks before he passed away, but I found the people there to be very caring and concerned. They made sure that he was not in his room all the time. They got him out into this big area they had right by their nurse's desk where they could sit. If they were capable of communicating, that's what they did. They took care of him while he was eating and everything. They paid attention to him. They were very helpful. They had people coming in and sing."

"Our Family has been very pleased with the level of care for the past year, for our Mother. The staff of WMH&R are friendly and caring at all times. Any "issues" we have had, have been rectified in a timely fashion, to our satisfaction. The facility is very Family Friendly, we always feel welcome there. At this time, I would highly recommend WMH&R. "

"Its a worrisome process when the staff at the hospital gives you a list of over 20 rehab centers and says pick one or 2. We knew of Seapines and Melbourne Terrace. As they were both filled we ended up bringing my 85 year old mom here. At first glace she was extremely anxious but everyone said give it a day or two..We did and miraculously our mom took to this place. The nurses and Aides are all so nice and attentive. I got a call from someone in the physical therapy room and went in at lunch time and was amazed there were over 30 red shirts sitting having lunch.. What a tremendous staff and very caring handling my mom and her new shoulder after a reverse shoulder surgery. There were a few bumbs sharing a room etc.. But over all a great place for my mom to rehab and meet like minded people suffering with similar problems..There is a hair dresser on Tuesdays and Wednesdays which is fantastic. Who doesn't feel better after surgery getting a good hair wash and blow dry. There is also manicures on Wed afternoons. Not to mention Music, Communion, bingo and lots of fun distractions from their everyday workouts. or 6 days a week in PT..The food is good and mom wanted mostly fruit platters and yogurt they were quick to accommodate her..But sometime she choose the meatloaf and mashed potatoes.. It is an Excellent facility and I would recommend it to family and friends. "

"The staff at AVANTE have made placing our mom in a rehab the best experience. In just one week the staff showed me how to care for her when she returns home. We previously had home health nurses who never once showed me how to properly care and move and help my mom get stronger. The staff at AVANTE did so much in just a weeks time. The PT and OT staff are working so hard with my mom. She is getting stronger by the day. We are looking forward to her returning home. The nurses have been tentative and loving everyday. You never have to search for a nurse. They are always right next to your room. The staff around the facility have been kind, genuine and very helpful. The cleaning crew is always in my moms room making sure everything is just right. We've been grateful for the staff, especially the CNA's who have been teaching and guiding us. The care our mom is receiving at AVANTE has been wonderful and we would recommend them."

"I had an elderly friend that was admitted to this facility. During his stay his health steadily increased to a point that he had not known for years. The facility Staff were wonderful and easy to speak with. They always responded to any needs he had and developed a special relationship with him while under their care. I am so thankful for all they did for him. This gave me much comfort to know his needs were met. He loved his smoking times with his friends. Thank you to all the Staff. Thank you administrators and Social Workers, nurses and nurses assistants. "

"This is a beautiful facility with a lovely garden out back. Good ice cream every day. Excellent Rehab dept. Erica got me walking quickly. Food leaves a lot to be desired. Not good most of time. CNA's very nice and answered lights fairly quickly. Generally good experience. Rooms are nice and clean and smple size. Just wish they had headphones for TV's. No activities."

"I stayed in the Encompass Health Sea Pines Rehabilitation Hospital for rehab. It was a little more on the older scale, but kept up fine. The staff weren't as active with the patients. The food was bland. I'm using a little bit of spice in it. My room was a little smaller than what they had at the other facility, and like mine didn't have the windows. I had physical and occupational therapy there, and they were good."

"I currently have my Dad and my private patient in this facility. I am impressed with the cleanliness, and the staff from intake to the nurses, physical therapists and theCNA's are first rate. The thoroughness of the care, coupled with the physical therapy are both superior. The food is great too. I cannot thank the staff enough! "

"The rooms aren't bad. Two persons per room. All the nurse's and cna are really great too. The only thing i found was the food, some of it was good and some not so good."

"Glenda B gave my mother extraordinary care during her stay at the Palms. Glenda consistently exhibited outstanding knowledge, compassion and professionalism throughout her time with my mother. In addition to my mother, I witnessed Glenda give the same excellent attention and kind consideration to all of the ladies in her care. Glenda is a wonderful caregiver, and very special lady!!!! "

"I have been staying at Anchor Care and Rehab for years. You get decent care and they're trying to make the food as good as possible with what they got. Now, they got shipping problems, and the stores are empty, but they do the best they can. They're going to do some remodeling, the patio out front needs to be redone. I think they can improve on the internet because I have Netflix on my TV but like right now, I couldn't connect. A lot of times they have workers coming in from another company if they're short, but they don't work as well as the normal staff. We do bingo, and we go out to some restaurants, but the transportation is an issue. We used to use Space Coast buses, but we can't now because of COVID. They found a new company that just opened for transportation, and they said they'll do a five-mile radius because of the gas prices. We also watch movies, we have a guy coming in to play guitar on Saturday, and we have two ladies that come in for Bible study. Another gentleman might start giving guitar lessons, there's a Wii machine so we did bowling on that and we have Family Feud. So overall, they keep us busy. The rooms are too small. They have a courtyard out back and they have a patio out front."

"My son has Dementia and has been a patient for over 3 years. He is happy there and likes the food. His room and bathroom are clean. The receptionist is always very helpful. The nursing staff seem nice but very busy and sometime hard to contact. Considering the alternatives I feel this is the best choice for me for my son. "
