"My husband was at Ballard Rehabilitation Hospital. They offered more of a high intense workout and he couldn't do it. He didn't spend enough time there, but when he was there, he was happy. He just wanted to go home. It was very clean. The staff members weren't as cheerful, but you could see them all working together. Their meals were good. They cleaned all the time. They took care of the rooms. The outdoor area was really nice. We never got to go at the back, but they had a place for the families to get together, like a patio for them. The administration staff was terrific."

"My relative has been at Mill Creek Manor since March 30. They have all different people there. It has been really good and helpful. They're really good about answering questions and letting us know exactly what's going on. Residents are able to go out because they have a nice yard with tables. If we get there at lunch or dinnertime, they'll let bring my relative's tray out to him so he can sit and eat with us at the table outside. He is still a little confused, but they have been very good to him. They have a calendar up of activities daily. They have done everything we asked. They make sure that my relative is up to date on his shots, and all of his medications are now straightened out. He had gotten pneumonia, and they took care of it. They called us, told us they were going to take him to the hospital, and got him back. They had taken care of everything."

"I was a new tracheostomy patient also with a new PEG tube. The staff is highly professional and caring! Very friendly and devoted nurses, house keeping staff, great PT and OT, and a marvelous Respiratory Therapy team . I learned the essentials along with my caregivers of trach care and received wonderful treatment. The facility is very clean and attractive and is professionally led and run. I recommend it highly! "Linda Valley Care Center is very nice overall. The primary doctor for my grandfather was excellent and the majority of the staff as well. They went out of their way to help my grandfather, they were very respectful and always answered our questions. Sometimes certain staff members were a little rough with my grandfather- they never hurt him, but he could be easily surprised because of his bad vision, and some of the nurses/staff did not talk to him before they went to move him or change his pants, so sometimes he was startled because they didn't talk or explain enough. Aside from that and some billing issues, my family had a good experience at Linda Valley. I thought they took good care of my grandfather while he was there. I was especially impressed with the nurses at the desk by his room- they always asked us how we were doing when we visited, and they would tell us funny stories or give us an update on my grandfather. Overall a very nice place. "

"My mom was at Highland Care Center of Redlands. That one has mixed reviews because she would have to call me on my own phone so I could tell the front desk and have someone come to the room. They provided the physical therapy and stuff like that, but if you put your room light on to call, they just never respond to it, so she would call me at home, and I would call the front desk to tell them that she needed something so that they could go and address her concern. Once I would get a hold of them, they seemed to be pretty quick to respond. They were very nice. The facility seemed clean. It was a little bit dated, but clean. I wouldn't know about their activities because my mom was non-ambulatory recovering from surgery. And the value for the money, insurance covered it."

"I'm at Plymouth Village and I'm happy with it. I like that there's a couple of different places you can eat for different kinds of cuisine. If you don't eat most of your meals here, you can get wine or beer at the end of the month to share with your friends, or you can bring company to use up some of your meals that you didn't use. I've got my own car. I drive places. When I don't want to, I can have them come and pick me up in a golf cart and drive me around the facility, or take me to doctors or shopping in the town. If you don't want to drive you can still qualify as independent. The staff is wonderful. The guys who drive the golf carts to the people who wait on us for dinner know my name, but we have name tags if we want to wear them. They knew who I was after just a few weeks. It's everything I had hoped for. They have people who come around to make sure you know all the services, how to get hold of the concierge, how to get hold of any maintenance you want to do, or how to get medical help if you need. They come around and make sure you know all of that and know the different activities that are going on and stuff like that. They're very involved in getting me into the groups. They're so pleasant. The food is wonderful. You can eat and be served. You can take your meals home or they will deliver them to you at your door, whichever you want. They've got something going every day. They make sure they give you a list for the whole month of what's coming up and what time and where. They make sure you're all informed on everything. Comparing it to other places, there are some that are equally as expensive, too, that I didn't choose."

"I am giving a personal review of an employee, Jane is very attentive to her patients and their needs, she is always so cheerful and happy and that is important when you are healing and hurting, I am a patient here and am so happy when I hear her voice and see here come around the corner, it's been 2 days of happiness with her, I hope I get to see Jane when she works and she is my CNA again."

"The people in Terracina Post Acute are very helpful and caring. They're a very busy community, so it's sometimes hard to get someone on the phone. I was down there one day and I helped a CNA change my sister, make her bed back up, dress her, and change her. It's incredible to me what the staff can do with my sister because she is about 300 pounds. I'm impressed. The place looks like an old mansion that someone converted into a hospital. It's really pretty when you walk in; there are two grand staircases on either side. Going down the hall, you'll see people who are rehabbing that are going to get better and go home. They also have residents who have dementia or Alzheimer's, but they are locked in in one area so they don't get lost. The people who are able mentally and physically can go outside and sit in the sun or smoke a cigarette. The people I met and talked to seemed happy. An old lady was playing the grand piano there one day and that was really cool."

"I was treated at this facility following knee surgery for rehab. I had great care. My Mother-in-law was also treated at this facility following surgery for a broken femur. She received great care. She was 96 years old and did not respond well to therapy. As a result she is bedridden. The administrator and others helped us through the paperwork and interview to put her on hospice and take her home. We already had a great full time caregiver for her. Two of the workers also gave us info so we could use them on their days off for substitute care. We have been pleased with this facility and recommend to to others. "
