My husband and I were looking for a 55 and older senior community, and Overture Cary 55+ Apartment Homes was very, very wonderful. Some of the things that we had hoped they would have, they didn't, but they had a unit available the day that we went in. They're reasonable, and I love all of the ongoing activities. We witnessed those and it's so perfect for our age group. The staff who accommodated us were very professional, very thorough, and very inviting. The description of the whole property and all the amenities that are offered to the residents are beautiful. In this type of property, you have your own apartment, and you do your own cooking; however, one of the activities involves the seniors cooking for each other. They have a designated day, and they do breakfast every week. The apartments are very contemporary, very light-filled, inviting, and very comfortable. Every nook and cranny in the apartment are exactly what we needed.

My mom is pleased with Overture Cary. She likes the activity that's going on. She's happy there. Right now, she is enjoying their Bible study. She is well pleased with her apartment, but when it comes to cleaning the big one bathroom she has, she said it's hard to clean them, so she's thinking about getting somebody to help her do that. I haven't been back there to visit her since I've moved her in, but the place was clean and well-maintained definitely.
