Silver Sky Assisted Living is OK. The food could be better, but it's mainly for people who need more medical assistance. About 80% of the people are in wheelchairs or walkers. The staff is all very nice and friendly, but some of them weren't very competent. The food isn't always top quality. It had some good meals and some not very good. There are plenty of amenities. I just wish they had an exercise room. They don't have that and they don't have a pool. They have other good facilities and they have some good entertainment. It's a good community. It is a nice clean, and comfortable facility.

My 90 year Father-in-law with diminishing mental capacity placed a deposit at the Silver Sky facility in anticipation of moving in this month. Unfortunately, days later, he was hospitalized, where he still remains almost 2 weeks later. My wife and I are managing his affairs per his request. We have tried repeatedly to contact administration at the facility to determine what commitment he made, as we have been unable to locate an Agreement when reviewing his documents. The company did cash his deposit check, but despite 2 in-person visits, and multiple phone calls and voice messages, nobody from Administration has responded to our repeated inquiries. The lack of professional courtesy and inability to respond to a simple inquiry tells us everything we need to know about the level of service at this facility.

Silver Sky Assisted Living was very nice and very clean. They take good care of their residents. I had a real good friend of mine that lived there and they treated her well. They served breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the food was good. I had bacon, eggs, coffee, a muffin, and some fruits for breakfast there. They didn't have that many amenities, but they had an instructor that would come in every morning for those who want to exercise or do stretches. Then they have another person come in for music like play the piano for them and all that stuff. They have movies, bingo, and little games as well.

I have lived at Silver Sky Assisted Living at 83 Silver Sky Dr. since September 10, 2021. I have been very pleased with the service and the staff. I have multiple issues with eating and the kitchen staff particularly has been helpful in making sure my food is prepared in a way that I can chew and swallow. The most important people that made this possible with Gail, Lisa, Debbie, Lynne, Vanessa, Belinda. They have been kind helpful not only to me but to other people in the dining room

I toured Silver Sky Assisted Living for my parents. The price was right, and place is clean. The tour experience was good. The place was good. It was clean and nice. The amenities are nice, and everything was good.

I went to tour Silver Sky Assisted Living. The food was very good and there was a varied menu. The rooms were nice. The whole place was almost brand new and I like the staff. They let me see what I wanted to and introduced me to some of their people. The room was one room and a half with plenty of space for storage. The carpets seemed to be brand new, and there's plenty of room. It was more apartment type. Twice a week, they take people to places like casinos or shopping. The other three days, they take people to scheduled visits like their doctors' visits.

My mom moved into Silver Sky Assisted Living last November into her own small apartment. They escort her to meals, provide incontinence care, and take care of her laundry. Were very pleased with it. They have libraries throughout the building, a theater room, and multiple common areas throughout the building. They have a nursing staff who are able to supervise her medication and basically all the things Im not able to do because I dont live with her. Theyve laid out the area pretty well. We toured six facilities before we chose Silver Sky, and we found that the higher the price, the colder we felt about them.

Silver Sky would have worked just fine, but my aunt is on limited income. She only gets social security, and it was more expensive than she could afford. There wasn't an odor, the place was clean, and the rooms were nice and roomy. They had a shuttle that could take people to shopping and outside trips, and they had meals and snacks for the residents. It looked like the people were pretty active, so that was nice. They had a nice area for people to visit, and everybody seemed happy.

Silver Sky Assisted Living was not clean. The food was barely palatable and was worse than cafeteria food in school. The people that worked there provided just the bare minimum of what they had to by law. They were not pleasant. They were snippy many times. When they were done eating, nurses were supposed to come and take the residents back to their rooms or wherever they wanted to go. I saw people sitting at the table for half an hour waiting. The rooms were not OK. The bedroom was very small. When I put my bed in, I didn’t even have room for a dresser. They have a library. They have a game room, but nobody uses it because nobody is there to supervise or encourage the residents. They have bingo twice a day, and that’s the big thing. They need to get a good activities director and they need to get a chef that knows how to cook. The way people feel about the community is like they could care less there.

After having my mother living with us and being miserable, we checked out Silver Sky at Deersptings facility and liked what we saw. We were offered assistance in the application process and within days, Mom was in her own beautiful apartment, with her companion pet. Knowing she is receiving assistance with taking her meds is a relief for me. Mom is thriving within the community, and talks so highly of the entertainment that is provided. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

When we took our loved one to live at Silver Sky in 2014 it was a very nice place. Sometime in the following year or so it seems to have changed hands, because all previous employees were fired and standards plummeted to the point of being an unbearable place to live. Our relative received less and less medical oversight, the staff became very inconsiderate and rude, people would barge into the apartment unannounced and without even knocking. It is a terrible facility and a terrible way to live. We worked hard to get our relative out of that place and, after we did, they refused to return the deposit - even though there was absolutely no damage. Two years ago, this facility had a good reputation and deservedly so. But now, it's a place that should be avoided at all costs.

My mother has lived at Silver Sky for 2 years. It's in a nice neighborhood, conveniently located near shopping and a hospital/medical center. Realistically, no place is without room for improvement. But the staff makes every effort to make it a pleasant place to live. They encourage family involvement and genuinely care about the residents.

I liked Silver Sky's location -- it's next door to me. All the people seemed content and happy. It's quiet and well furnished, and the staff seemed very polite. They had three floors, and the main floor was where the cafeteria or the dining area was. They had a room that they use for games and crafts. They had a little store that you can go into and purchase things. The surroundings of the building were very nice. It's open and airy. The dining setup was also very nice and very clean.

I had a very bad experience with Silver Sky. I was supposed to be booked for a tour, but when I went there, they did not even know who I was. A girl showed me one of the units which I figured was just OK. After seeing the unit, they went straight into finances. I did not get a tour.

Silver Sky was horrible. It was a clean facility for the most part, but the staff was not very friendly. My biggest concern was the fact that when they started having to take more care of my mother, it was when they started being nastier about everything.

Silver Sky Assisted Living is a wonderful place for people. They have everything .They have a nursing line in staff, individual rooms, and the best food. They are very attentive and loving to the people, and their activity director is very good. Everybody I talked to is happy there.

Mom and dad are both getting excellent care over at Silver Sky. They have a very capable staff. I don’t know everything that goes on there, but they have a hair salon, they went to dining, and then they have a lot of daily activities and such. I know that they like it there and that’s the most important thing. Actually I feel comfortable with them being there. The reason we chose this was because it’s very close to where my sister lives so that was the convenience for us. She checks in on them several times a week, and she’s very comfortable with that. The people living there and the staff are friendly. It’s clean and has a homey atmosphere. There are several hospitals nearby the facility. A shopping center is very close to it and so is Costco.

My mom was in Silver Sky for three years. In the beginning, it was pretty good, and we enjoyed it. It wasn’t as regimented but free flowing, but as her dementia progressed, it was no longer good for her. Their level of care was very low because of understaffing. The staff’s attitude was lackadaisical. They had Bingo every day at 1:00 pm, and on Wednesday they added at 6:00 pm. During the day either there was somebody that would come and sing, or they would have somebody that would come and do yoga with them. The food left something to be desired. In the beginning when she first moved in it was awesome, then it declined because of a change in chef. I guess they were just trying to save money.

A friend of mine took me over at Silver Sky for a visit. It’s a lovely facility. The dining room was elegant. The apartments were lovely, and the staff was helpful. They have movies and game rooms for cards. They also have like a party room. It was as close to perfect that I could have ever wanted.

I researched a lot of places in Las Vegas on my own and I came across Silver Sky at Deer Springs. So far, I am very satisfied with this one. Everything about is excellent. The food is good; the staff is good; and they aim to please everybody. I am very pleased with the facility. I've recommended it to several people since I moved my mother there. They have all kinds of activities; you name it, they do it. They have music and Bingo. They go out three times a week if they want. They all take your family members to doctor's appointments. They have classes for dancing, crocheting, and art. It is a very, very good place and it is not overly priced compared to the other ones. I have been to many other facilities and they were terrible, so I definitely rate this a five. They also work with people on restricted incomes.

Silver Sky was close to where my parents lived. I think it's only about 4 to 5 years old, so it's fairly new. I think it has something like 50 or so people. They like the room layout. Also, everything was included in one price. If you need extra services, it's free; you just ask for it. The staff was all very friendly, and my parents have had emergencies in the night several times, and they've been there really fast. My parents say they like the food. There's one main course, and then if they don't like that, they have other options to eat, like sandwiches and stuff. They bring the food to the table for them. They have outings. They have exercise 2 or 3 times a week. They have 2 or 3 things going on ever yday. They have bingo going a couple of nights a week, and they have different groups coming in 2 or 3 days a week. They like the care that they get. They don't have to worry about having to go to the hospital for emergencies. There's a doctor who's associated with the VA that comes there.

I went to see a friend who was staying at Silver Sky Senior Living. The coordinator took us around and showed us the different levels. You can have your own apartment there. I'd like a room that was up on the third floor. It had a kitchenette area, a living room, a bedroom, a walk-in closet, and a private bathroom. I didn't eat at their dining area, but the people seemed to be enjoying their food.

Mom is at Silver Sky. She has her own room. The bedroom is separate from the living room. They have a lot of stuff that goes on there: bingo, mahjong, Scrabble. They have entertainers come in. The staff was all nice and good, very pleasant. It's very clean. It seems all good.

The rooms are beautiful at Silver Sky at Deer Springs. The place is very nice and it really has a pleasant atmosphere. I met with the person at the front desk and a woman who showed me around and they were very personable and very nice, but the facility is just expensive for us and mom can't afford that.

It was very nice. It looked like a very well done place. The staff seemed fine. We didn't see many people. We did see some rooms. It was one I expected because my mother had lived in a place like that, so it really didn't hold any surprises for me. I thought it provided good services for people who could no longer drive for instance. They provided the services that they needed to remain not just well but happy.

Silver Sky was a very nice place and they don't charge much. They had a billiard table and they had place where I could bake where there was a refrigerator and a stove. The staff was very nice and helpful. They gave me a lot of information. I ate there and I enjoyed the meal very much. The living environment was good. I would recommend it to anyone.

The only reason we did not choose Silver Sky at Deer Springs for my mom was because it was too far from our area. Also the complex was too large and I'm concerned about how much walking my mom would have to do to get to places like going outside to the yards or getting down to the dining room. However, it was a beautiful facility, very nice, very clean. It was like an upscale hotel with chandeliers. Also they have a very spacious dining room. I didn't get a chance to eat there but the food smelled good. Their staff were very friendly and very informative. I would still recommend this place.

Silver Sky is very affordable, and it's just 5 miles from my house. The facility is about six years old, but the rooms are excellent and brand new. I think my mother-in-law is one of the first or second people that live in the unit she's in.

I opted for Silver Sky Assisted Living because ot the location. It was secure and there was not a lot of traffic. The staff seemed very good and accommodating. My mom's apartment had a handicapped bathroom, large doorways, private bedroom, little living room and a little kitchenette. The facility was well-maintained and decorated. I have tried eating there and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting.

I decided to have my Mom live here. She moved in November 2011 and passed away February 2012. She took verbal abuse from the owner and several of the med-techs who were actually responsible for her medication had no clue about what type of medication they were giving. At times when she needed help, it took awhile for someone to respond. She was called lazy because she wasn't able to walk to the bathroom, she had a commode which she had for several years, and the director made an issue about that. She only had a nurse visit twice, we never saw her like we were told we would. I would think twice about this facility, unless the director and nurse are gone.

We chose Silver Sky because the place was really nice. They've been so helpful and the people were really nice. The place was very clean, well kept, no smelly odor in the air. Very comfortable and warm place to stay.
