"I toured Truewood by Merrill, Henderson. The place is classy, comfortable, and clean. The people were helpful and the residents were friendly. I didn't look directly at the pool or the exercise area, but they did have it. I pretty much looked at the room. I've seen how the rooms looked. I've seen how the front area looked. It's pretty much quick. I had enough information that I needed to know. I told her not to worry about taking me everywhere, but we just looked at a couple of places and I got the feel of a place. I understand what it would be like if I were to live there. The staff was polite and informative. I liked what they were doing. I felt comfortable there. If I need a place like that, I'll go."

"I would give Brookdale Las Vegas a high rating from what I've seen. It's very organized, clean, thoughtful, and intentional with how they care for patients, especially those with dementia. It's beautiful and very professional with how they run everything. The staff was great with the assistance during the tour. The common area was good, but they could have used more television, couches, and a little more space."

"Oakmont of Las Vegas was our first choice only because it's near my house. We toured the entire property. The staff was great. The property was beautiful. They have a beautiful courtyard and it looks like a park. The activities were great. The floor plan was nice. It had nice wide hallways. There was no carpet. It had wood flooring, which we liked. It was clean and looked well organized. They have a salon there. The activity center was good. The dining room was very inviting and attractive. It was an excellent property. They offered us to have a meal, but we didn't have time to eat. The food looked good."

"My mother is currently in a nursing home and then she will go into Sterling Ridge Senior Living. She's going into the memory care unit. I liked the administration, and the people who toured me and worked with me. I felt like they were very accommodating. They've allowed me to move all my mom's stuff in there because I live in California. Even though she's not there yet, they let me move her things in. They're going to go visit her in the nursing home. I just had a good feeling about it. The rooms are nice and very big. My mom's going into a shared room, and there's ample space for two people. I looked at some other places, but the shared rooms were tiny. I like this because it gives her more of her own space."

"I toured Serenity Living at Mountains Edge. The facilities were very well maintained. The staff was very professional, and it was a good fit because it felt like a good home where she would be cared for. She wasn't just going to be another person in a room. They seemed well-educated and trained in memory care. They had just remodeled, and it looked like a brand-new house."

"The staff is very caring and compassionate. The rooms are spacious and clean. The owner is always available to answer any questions you have. I would highly recommend this home when you need specialized care for a loved one. The staff is empathetic to every ones needs. The meals are nutritious and well prepared. My dad had the best care! Thank you so much for taking great care of my dad!"

"My parents will be moving into Lakeview Terrace of Boulder City. It is an assisted living facility, but they also have memory care there. It was very nice and very friendly. It is not elegant, but it was very comfortable. It's not a small place, but it was not exaggeratedly overdone or anything like that. We went into some others that were insanely expensive. Our parents are not poor, but they're not in the extremely wealthy side, so this met all of our needs. It made the family feel very comfortable there. They're very welcoming. Veronica assisted us, and she couldn't have been more helpful. We didn't take time to sample the food, but we did witness it, and it looked excellent, and all the people there seemed very, very pleased with their meals. Their eating area was a restaurant at one point. The place was a hotel, and then it was bought and converted into senior living and so the whole general area is just really nice and very large. Their focus is on socializing everyone and getting them to visit with each other and talk to each other. It keeps them more connected with the world. They have all types of activities, from crafts to entertainment. Local professional entertainers come in at least a couple of times a month. They do excursions, they have bingo, they do a lot of things with their people that are there, and karaoke."

"My brother liked Escalante at The Lakes. It's just out of our price range. The person who was giving the tour and my brother just clicked. So, that was a big part of it there. We only saw two or three people there, so I didn't get a really good impression of the actual residents of the facility. That's one thing that left me questioning in my mind, but their sales guy made the biggest impression on my brother. They offer meals, medication assistance, cleaning services, and laundry. It's all inclusive. It's everything my brother would need."

"I toured Oakmont of The Lakes, and the residents seemed happy. The staff was very cordial and informative. Everything about the facility was clean, and it was very impressive. It seemed that it was good for the patients who were there, and the availability was there if they wanted to play games or watch a movie. The activities and everything were there for them. They could do whatever they wanted, and that was the most impressive part of that facility."

"My Mom only got to spend 3 months there before she passed. I really wish I had found Tender Loving Home sooner. Everyone from the owner to the manager to the entire staff go the extra mile for the residents. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. I highly recommend this amazing home."

"Atria Seville told me that you didn't have to move if you needed more care and that was their selling point. Some places, you have to move from independent to assisted. It was a good experience. The staff was wonderful. The upkeep was great. The size of the rooms was small. There was a library. The dining area was very elegant and very nice."

"My brother will be moving into Desert View Senior Living. I showed up at dinnertime, and dinner smelled delicious. The facility was very clean. The residents were so nice and friendly. It just seems to be like a community where they kind of help each other out as well. There are lots of activities to keep people busy during the day, so they're not just sitting around watching T.V. or something. We looked at a little studio apartment. It's kind of like one big room with a divider. There's a small bedroom in the back, a living area at the front, a small refrigerator, and a microwave. There's also a walk-in shower with a seat, so they can just walk in and sit down. The staff was great. He was helpful and answered all my questions. The meal is cooked to order. They can order whatever they want for breakfast that's on the menu. It was like a restaurant."

"Mom is now living in Monarch Group Home for Senior Citizens. I actually looked at six places, and I could say that this communuity is great. I am very impressed with the staff. They have three certified nurses and helpers everytime I was there. They were up and talking to each other. They also have nice rooms with bed, chairs, and tv in it. They serve good food in a beautiful dining room. With all the activities that they have, the residents seem to be having fun. "

"This group home is wonderful. Choosing to move my husband into a care facility was tough. I felt guilty, but his worsening dementia became too much for me to manage alone. I explored different homes and larger facilities, but Serenity Living felt like the best choice. I chose a shared room which was big and comfortable. The owner, Allyn, was very patient and supportive during the entire process. I was especially impressed with caregivers Alma and Priscilla, who were attentive and kind. I appreciated that Serenity Living allowed visits at any time, so I could see my husband whenever I wanted, without needing an appointment. They also tailored his meal plan based on his preferences and time frame. The food was decent, and he seemed to enjoy it. Overall, this place is A+."
