My father has been grappling with dementia for about eight years now, and honestly, it has been an incredibly traumatic journey for me and for everyone who loves him. The search for proper support has often felt overwhelming, with frequent hospital visits that prevent him from truly settling in and adjusting to new environments. Then we discovered Sweet Valley Home Care, and it has truly been a godsend. The staff there is genuinely warm and compassionate, and for the first time, I feel a sense of peace at night knowing that he is receiving the care he deserves. It’s such a relief to witness the love and attention he receives from each caregiver.

The rooms are spacious, very clean, very inviting and feel like actual bedrooms. The home cooked meals are excellent. My mother loves the cooking. The staff is extremely friendly reassuring and gives any newcomer the sense of belonging and reassurance that you’re putting your loved one in the right place and in good hands. The care staff is very enthusiastic about their jobs and the residents Are acknowledged, and their needs are always put first, the staff always asks the right questions; How are you feeling? Are you hungry? what activity would you like to do? This group home advocates for the families and the patients. That quality alone is very unique. I can’t say enough With regards to how wonderful this group home is. For the first time in months I’m sleeping better and it’s because I know my mother‘s in good hands.

My dear friend or 35+ years needed care. I looked at several facilities including Sweet Valley Home Care. Before we decided this was the right place, I visited, unannounced and spoke to several residents. They all seemed to love it. They said the staff was friendly and accommodating, the food was good , and overall had nothing but praise. We moved in my friend who can be quite a handful. His personality is gruff, and he tends to complain about everything. Since then, he is actually very happy. The communication I have with Brian at the home is top notch. He genuinely takes an interest in his residents and not just their money as I’ve seen in other places. Sweet Valley Home Care has been a great place for my friend as he seems happier than I have seen him in years. In searching for anything as constructive criticism, I suppose the size of the shared room is on the small size for 2 adult men, and the price is slightly on the high side, even though we locked in the price for life. All in all, I highly recommend Sweet Valley Home Care.

Bryan and everyone at Sweet Valley were godsent. Each caregiver was so wonderful and caring towards my Dad. We wish we had found Sweet Valley early on. They were everything that we were looking for, plus, during the short time my Dad was there, he seemed happier. My Dad was very sick and sadly, he passed away December 14, 2023. He didn't pass alone, one of the caregivers was holding his hand. That makes my heart glad and I am so grateful to her, as well as all of Sweet Valley. I truly believe he was amongst people who cared about him. So, if you're looking for a place that is warm and inviting and will take care of your loved one and treat them like family? This is the place.

My mom is a resident at Sweet Valley Home Care for three months now. As far as I can see, it's really a good place. My mom likes it there pretty much. She likes the caregivers, too. The rooms are small, but the layout is really good. I think they have two beds in each room, so my mom shares the room with a lady. It is about the best way that they can have it. It is pretty good. My mom is pretty comfortable there. I'm not sure about what activities they do now because it's cold outside, but during the summer when my mom first came, they would be outside, and they have little plant gardens that they would do. They had nice activities when it was warmer outside. As far as I can see, it is neat and clean. The kitchen is clean. They keep the dishes washed. They cook, and they have really good meals. They cook three times a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have snacks, too. I don't eat there, but my mom eats so much that I have even had to get her a size up on her clothes. The staff is good. I really like caregivers. I mostly go in mid-morning, and I get to see pretty much three of the caregivers on a regular basis, and I really like those three ladies. They're very caring. They have one resident that's kind of bedbound, and when she rings those bells, they're automatically up and ready to go see what's going on with her. They just really care about them. So that's what I like about the ladies that I see there. They're doing pretty good with what they have.

Sweet Valley Home Care was a nice private home that's been converted. But they had no private rooms, and the rooms were kind of small. It seemed like a wonderful place, and the people were fantastic. The staff was excellent. They answered all my questions without me having to ask them. They were very friendly, very personable, and polite.

My wife will be moving into Sweet Valley Home Care. She just felt more comfortable there. It was just a regular house, but it was clean, spacious, and bright. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to try their food and it was well-balanced and well-prepared.

We are very pleased with the services of Sweet Valley. The rooms are warm, open and clean. The staff is positive, caring, and eager to learn about the resident. They are professional and get things done. They inform me of any changes that occur with my mom. The staff takes residents out on walks, play games, Karoake and other great activities. They encourage the residents to participate and are very supportive of those who are unable to. I am contacted with any changes with My mothers mental or physical wellbeing. The food is very good, home cooked and healthy . The decision to place our mother was extremely difficult but with Sweet Valley we do not regret our choice.

My friend is in Sweet Valley Home Care. It is great. The last place he was in was so awful. These people are so wonderful and we see him interacting with people, which he'd never done at any other place. They know how to talk to him and how to handle him. He interacts, where he never did before. This is his third home that we've had him in. None of them are cheap, but this one is worth the price. The facility is very open and very welcoming. I think that's partly why he likes it so much because he does like to walk around. The living room and the other residents that are there are also very, very nice. He's made even a friend, which is unheard of for the last three homes. It's very clean. In fact, yesterday they had us over for Easter dinner. They're just wonderful people. The food was amazing. They take them for walks, but beyond that, I don't know.

I was told it is important to the owners and staff that the residents feel like Sweet Valley Homecare is their home. They truly mean what they say. I am so impressed with how much they care about our well being as well as our being comfortable here. The house was recently renovated and is beautiful. We’re about to plant a healthy food garden and they offer arts and crafts! I can’t say enough good things. I’m very happy here.

My dad lives in Nevada and we live in New York and Florida. He was hospitalized in November and we needed a place to facilitate his needs for his condition changed over night. Bryan was so helpful to my Uncle Anthony to get my Dad the help he needed within a day. Bryan immediately went to hospital and evaluate d him and placed him in 2 days. Really nice environment for dad. It is a home away from home. 24/7 care and tends to his needs. Keeps us family members of daily activities and concerns. He sings Karoki, cooks in kitchen when he wants to make his favorite recipes, with guidance of course. Bryan and Vivian are a great team and my Dad is in great hands. I highly recommend this for your loved one.

I was living alone in a very unhealthy environment. My family recommended a change of environment was necessary. After researching all alternatives, Sweet Valley Home Care fit all of my requirements. I moved in during the first week of February. As you can see from my ratings, i am very satisfied.
