My sister recently moved in to Oakmont Of The Lakes. We couldn’t have made a better choice after touring 10 different communities. Oakmont Of The Lakes stood out from the rest. Not only for its beauty and cleanliness. You could tell that the residents and staff were genuinely happy. You could hear laughter all around the community. Residents out engaging with one another with the employees even seemed to be having a great time. Made me and my sister smile. My sister is happier now, she is no longer alone. Thank you Oakmont for making her feel welcomed and loved. I Would recommend this community to anyone who is looking for senior living.

I visit Oakmont Of The Lakes quite often as I have a friend who lives there. Every-time I come, everyone is always so friendly. Residents and staff seem happy, lots of laughters can be heard. It’s a great feeling. Not your typical assisted living. I’ve had lunch and dinner and the food was excellent. They have a beautiful courtyard that was recently renovated where you can play croquet and bocci ball. I would definitely suggest Oakmont to anyone who is in need for senior living.

Oakmont of The Lakes was nice. The rooms that I was shown to were potential running for my mom. They were nice. They have everything she would need there. It was accommodating. I was shown how the people dressed up the outside of their doors a little bit to make it more personal for their area for their home. The staff that gave the tour was very good. She knew her stuff and answered all my questions that I had. They had a nice library and a nice theater. It was a very nice place.

Oakmont of The Lakes was beautiful. They seemed to offer everything. It was truly a top-of-the-line luxury community. It was a large community with memory care and just general retirement. Everybody there seemed fantastic. They had memory stations and memory boxes. It was an awesome facility.

Oakmont of The Lakes was more like a cruise ship. It's newer and nicer. The apartments were good. The actual room that a resident would be in was a little nicer. It's a lovely facility. They had a lovely little library to have someplace to hang out. Meredith was fabulous. She was very professional and very knowledgeable. I enjoyed meeting her and it was just a very, very positive experience. She gave each of us a little package of bonbons, and they were delicious.

The person that gave me the tour at Oakmont of The Lakes was very knowledgeable. It's an older facility, but it was clean. They had a nice movie theater and a nice coffee bar.

Oakmont of The Lakes seemed very modern and updated. They have nice room sizes and caring staff. The lady we met was very informative. She answered our questions and spent a sufficient amount of time with us so we could see all that the facility had to offer. They had lots of amenities, lots of really nice common areas for people, and we liked the movie theater.

My husband is in Oakmont of the Lakes. I liked the fact that when I came in there, it had a pleasant aroma. Not like some of the places that have a stench. The rooms are very nice and they have a lot of activities. And the food is great. That's basically why I chose it. He calls me and he tells me some of the things that he has for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And he says he's very happy with the food. They had swordfish with some sort of exotic dressing on it. And he said it was good. If you're hungry, you could have more than just one platter. You could have two servings or you could have three servings. They have bingo. Last Sunday, they had a piano concert. They had chairs set up and you were allowed to have a glass of wine if you like. He's only been there less than a week, and I've been there like every other day, so I haven't had a chance to see all the activities. They have a beauty shop and so they cut and style hair and shampoo. They have a theater and a great library. They have a whole wall of books, every kind you can think of. I believe they have some classes. They have a very good staff.

Oakmont of The Lakes would be our first choice, except for the cost. It looks like it's going to be about $1,000 more. I'm not sure that's worth the value of my mother-in-law basically being in a room. I like it because it's closer to my work, so I would be able to get there. I like the location better. It's definitely a higher end facility for the assisted living. It was a good experience. It really tries to engage its residents in activities. It won't make that much difference to my mother-in-law. Overall, it's nice to have that sense of belonging for those that want to participate. We didn't go outside, but it had a gazebo and a bird feeder. It looked much larger than the other place. It had a good open feel to it. There was a hair salon. It looked more modern and had more of a sense of arrival. It looked nice as you're coming into the facility. They also had a separate room where you can reserve it to have dinners, parties, or whatever; that was nice. There is also a separate dining room where we could be seated with her and have a meal with her, so that was nice. We viewed two rooms. The staff who toured us was very good. She was very professional.

I was very happy with Oakmont of The Lakes. The assisted living facility was very lovely, decorated nicely, clean, and very pleasant. Everyone was very professional and very nice. I saw different things going on. I looked in some rooms that showed word games. I saw some activity rooms. The room was very nice, very spacious, clean, and freshly carpeted and painted. I didn't interact at all with any of the caregivers, but the staff during the tour was very professional and very nice.

Oakmont of The Lakes was very beautiful and well taken care of. They had nice spaces. It's very accommodating. They seem to think of everything that you need. They had good activities. It seemed like a nice community. People knew each other's names, and that was important. The rooms were functional and pretty good space. The closets were nice and easy to access, and the bathrooms were spacious and easy to get around in. They were my favorite. The staff was very friendly. They explained to me and answered my questions. When they spoke to others, they use names, and it was nice like they knew who they were talking to. They have a nail and hair salon, and they have a podiatrist that comes in and a doctor that comes in once a month. The dining area was very clean. They had linen tablecloths, which I thought was a nice touch. It's restaurant style, so they take your order and bring you the food, so you're not getting up and getting your own food. They also offer a private dining room table, so if you have visitors for a special dinner, then they have that available as well.

Oakmont of The Lakes was very lovely. The community is a little smaller, but it is very well kept. Meredith was helping me and then her boss ended up taking us on the tour and they were both fabulous. They're upbeat and positive, but they're also very willing to answer your questions. It makes the experience much, much easier because it's not an easy experience looking for a place for your loved ones. The dining room was lovely. They have tablecloths and stuff. It was a bit smaller, but the snack areas were very easy and convenient. I saw the patios and the areas where they have different events or activities and they looked very lovely. The center area was blooming and very pretty. The rooms were lovely and they have different sizes. They're set up for comfort and convenience.

The tour with Oakmont of the Lakes was excellent. The facility was extremely beautiful. Our tour was very informative and it was one of the higher candidates for us. It was probably at the top of the list. I think it just came down to mostly the pricing. I like the setup of the room. There was a one-bedroom apartment that we thought would be very nice for my grandfather. The other apartments at the place had more like studio apartments, but this one had a separate room away from the living room area. That was one of the nice things. They had a beautiful theater room as well for the residents to go and watch movies on a bigger screen. It was just nice that they had all these available different things. There was an available exercise room. My grandfather wouldn't have had to leave the premises for anything other than maybe going to the doctor, which in this time of COVID is necessary and needed. The gentleman who gave us the tour was also the main maintenance person. He was excellent. He was very informative and answered a lot of our questions.

Oakmont of The Lakes was very nice, but they didn't have any openings. My first impression was very good. They are very nice, a little fancy, and I think they were on the expensive side. The staff who assisted me during the tour was very nice and very cool. The place was very, very nice. The person who assisted me was really helpful and all that good stuff.

Oakmont of The Lakes was fabulous. It was completely remodeled. It was a 10/10. It was filled with activities and things you could not even think of. It was just the best. They had a piece of their dessert, like a little gift that they gave. It was like a little brownie dessert with blueberries and whipped cream on top by the chef, and it was incredible. They have a theater room, activities room, a private dining room, full dining room, cafe bar, a large common space where they have music, and different venues like that. Their activities list was through the roof. They did brain games, memory games, and bingo. You name it, they do it. They have a salon. It was just too expensive overall. They had a full movie screen and it was great with leather couches and recliner chairs.

Oakmont of The Lakes is fabulous, if they had a two-bedroom, two-bath, my folks would be there. As far as looks, the upgrade is much better than the other place, they only have one area to go out in, to be outside as far as the courtyard, but it's a nice courtyard. They don't separate assisted living and independent living, they intermix them, which I think is kind of nice. The rooms are all one-bedroom and one-bath, or you can get a studio. Their one-bedroom is wonderful, it's nice, in fact, if my parents went to a one-bedroom, that's where they'd go. The lady who runs it seems nice, and the price is comparable to the other place. They don't have a pool, their exercise room is not as nice, but it's adequate, decent, their dining room is prettier, and their halls are wider. The staff was very nice, she answered every question I had, and of course, called me back to see if we were coming back. It's a good place. They gave me a huge coffee cup and a piece of bundt cake just for visiting.

My aunt moved into the Oakmont of the Lakes. Part of the fact that we chose it is because it is very close to where we reside. It's only about five minutes away, so it's easy for us to see her. It's a very beautiful community, and they have a great staff. The memory care unit is very small, it's a maximum of 16 patients, so she gets a lot of good care, because of the attendant to patient ratio. I think there is one attendant for every two or three patients. The amenities are great, and they do a lot of entertainment. My aunt is busy all day long, their days are scheduled, so they are out of bed at a certain time, and they are continually kept busy all day with stimulation exercises. We're giving my aunt a few weeks to settle in before we start visiting her. She actually participated in an activity as we dropped her off.

My father-in-law has been in Oakmont of The Lakes for about a month now. He is in a hospice program, and they were one of the places that was able to take him in because of the wound on his back. The people working there seem fine, and so far we have been very happy with how he has been doing. I have seen the food in the cafeteria, and it seems OK. We like that his room is airy and has a lot of lights. From what I could tell, the cleanliness is fine, too. They watch TV, and they have a patio where he can go out. In terms of activities, I don't think he does much.

Oakmont of The Lakes had a very warm feel, and it was very comfortable. They had very outgoing staff, and the residents seemed very happy. It was highly considered. The person during the tour was very friendly, and listened to our concerns and what we were looking for. The dining area was very nice and very warm. They had a lot of activities.

My mother is currently at this location. Unfortunately she has a very specific diet and the staff are taking amazing care of her. I wish I could thank each one of them by name. Of course, not every meal can be perfect but truly I am so thankful to them. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Oakmont of the Lakes was the FIND of a LIFETIME. My Mom is the HAPPIEST she has EVER been in her life enjoying an UNBELIEVABLE COMMUNITY with an INCREDIBLY WARM AND CARING STAFF. She says, "it's like living in a FIVE STAR RESORT." My family spent a long time researching and exploring different communities and Oakmont was by far THE BEST. Now that my Mom has been living there for more than 5 months we know it was the best decision we could have made. She LOVES EVERYTHING about it. The families security in knowing that my Mom is being so well cared for is PRICELESS. OAKMONT is TRULY AN INCREDIBLE PLACE!!!!!!

My mother stayed in Oakmont of The Lakes assisted living for a little while, then their memory care opened and she moved to memory care. She got excellent treatment at Oakmont, it's a beautiful facility, and they really do take care of their people in memory care as well as assisted living. They do a very good job. The director of memory care, Emily, is wonderful. My mom couldn't have been luckier. They allowed me to visit her however they could, and whenever they could, and they cared for her like she was part of their family.

We have found a place for my parents. It's Oakmont of The Lakes. So far it has been great. The staff members are amazing. They're fantastic and very receptive. My parents' apartment is great. It seems fine to me. I haven't seen it actually because I don't live in Las Vegas, but my sister says it's great. They provide food and I've heard that it's very good. My dad is in assisted living and my mom is in memory care. They definitely have different activities. My mom likes participating more than my dad does, but they definitely have activities. My mom likes doing crafts and she's the one that does more of that in memory care. My dad doesn't like really doing stuff that much in assisted living. They're very good professional care.

My mother is here and it's a pretty good community. Everything is fine over there. They just need a little more events happening on a daily basis. There are activities, but not that much. The staff is really wonderful; they have very good staff. They just need more events to keep the seniors busy. They should go and look for them and get together a little more. They should go and take them to the gym and stuff like that. They have a gym in the community, but they hardly use it. The food is great and the people are fantastic. I can only say good things about the staff there.
