My mom is a resident at Sterling Ridge Senior Living. She really, really enjoys it. She enjoys the people there. The staff is super friendly. But they raised the rent by $400 this year, and it seems like a lot. They do all sorts of classes. They do jewelry-making classes and art classes, they go to different restaurants, they do bingo, they have happy hour on Fridays, they do movies in the little theater, and they have a little salon. The food is terrible, which is probably to be expected. You always have a choice of jelly sandwiches, tuna salad, or chicken salad, and you can get that at whatever time. They also do specials. They do beef enchiladas and salmon with vegetables. They have good choices, but they're just not delicious.

My mother is currently in a nursing home and then she will go into Sterling Ridge Senior Living. She's going into the memory care unit. I liked the administration, and the people who toured me and worked with me. I felt like they were very accommodating. They've allowed me to move all my mom's stuff in there because I live in California. Even though she's not there yet, they let me move her things in. They're going to go visit her in the nursing home. I just had a good feeling about it. The rooms are nice and very big. My mom's going into a shared room, and there's ample space for two people. I looked at some other places, but the shared rooms were tiny. I like this because it gives her more of her own space.

My dad is moving into Sterling Ridge Senior Living. The place is super organized. The staff members have longevity. There's not a high turnover rate. I met some of the staff that's been there for 14 years, 13 years, and 9 years, so obviously, they're happy working there. The place is clean and organized. They have a lot of activities for the residents. We got there between lunch and dinner, and they offered warm cookies. The facility was great. They have multiple places for the residents to spend their leisure time.

I toured Sterling Ridge Senior Living. It looks like they paid a lot of attention to their clients and that the assisted living looks very nice. They took good care of their patients and gave them individualized care.

I liked the way Sterling Ridge Senior Living was set up, but I really didn't like the area. The staff who assisted me with the tour was very welcoming. They had different activities for their residents, and they had a pool. The facility had a very inviting atmosphere.

I think Sterling Ridge Senior Living was great. It was a well-maintained place, but it was missing some of the things that I need. It does not have a pool, balconies, or patios. Other than that, the rooms were great. The staff was professional, and they had a better kitchen setup. They have crafts time, an exercise room, and a more varied menu. One thing that I appreciated about the place was that there was a meeting before the tour with me. I sat down with the director of sales and her assistant. We had a 10 or 15 minute meeting prior to the tour and I thought that was very helpful.

I liked Sterling Ridge Senior Living. It was neat and clean. Everyone was very welcoming (from the staff to the residents). I spoke individually with the residents and they gave the facility a rave review. The two-bedroom, one-bath was handicapped-accessible throughout the rooms and the bathroom was extremely well put together for handicapped use. They also offer a studio, a one-bedroom, and a one-bedroom deluxe. There are a lot of things to do. They go to someplace daily and you're able to ask the driver to take you somewhere individually and accommodate all your needs. They go to all banks (not just one specific bank) on bank days and they have live guests coming in weekly for entertainment. What was nice is they have a big dance once a month where everyone gets dressed up and goes to the ball. There's a beauty salon, a library, a pool table, and a poker table. It had areas where you can sit and talk with others as well as common areas and a movie room. When they do movies, they get a pizza, popcorn, and soda. So they're able to feel like they're really at the movies. I enjoyed the tours and talking to the people. They've been great, very welcoming, very attentive, and very nice. The building itself is a little older though. So, I'd rate the building a 4, but the cleanliness is a 5.

The tour at Sterling Ridge Senior Living was fantastic. It was clean, they're friendly, it's very nice. The staff who toured me was accommodating and seemed like they cared. They seem to have pretty much everything in there. They even have a salon, a theater, and an activities room, they offer a lot there. Everything was just spotless all the way through. It's located close to the hospital, which is important, and close to my dad's doctor's office.

Sterling Ridge Senior Living. The people there were nice. They were very friendly as well, both residents and staff. The apartment was tiny. It's a converted old hotel, so it was more like a hotel room than an apartment. No kitchenette. The bedroom was attached to the living room. There was no privacy in the bedroom area. Tons of amenities. They had a nice gym facility. They had a nice physical therapist on site that would work with any of the people there as part of the rent. The dining room was nice, no swimming pool, though, but everything else was nice, nice craft room. Pretty poor upkeep, part of the roof was falling apart. There was a dank smell, like a musty smell for the place that needed a lot of TLC to get it up to a good standard.

My tour at Sterling Ridge Senior Living was very nice and the person who showed me around there. It's a lot newer than the other one I saw and I could find myself living there. However, the area is not what I'm looking for. The accommodations were excellent, their rooms were very nice. They've got a little barber shop where you can get your haircut and you can get pedicures. There are separate washing machines you can use, but none of the rooms have washers and dryers. Once a week, they also have someone who'll come in to wash your clothes and your sheets, or you can do it yourself if you want to. The people were very nice, including the woman who showed me around.

I like Sterling Ridge Senior Living for my mom because of the location, price, and the facility itself, it was clean. It's a big building and the room sizes were decent. It depends on what you're willing to pay, but even their studio apartment was a nice size. We didn't eat there but the menus looked comparable to other places. Everybody was friendly.

I think Sterling Ridge Senior Living is a great place. The residents seemed happy and they have a nice staff. They helped my father-in-law and made him feel at home quickly. It's a pretty homey place and it's clean. I saw a board when I was walking by that says they have poker nights, bingo games, and all these different things that happen every night. That was pretty cool.

Sterling Ridge is a great place. I like it because they keep Mom busy. Her transition has gone very well, and it's all been very good. I've seen the menu, and it looks good, but I haven’t tried the food yet.

We toured the rooms and the buildings at Sterling Ridge. It was a very well-kept place, and I believe they had recently remodeled. It was in a very nice location; you could walk to a hospital. The rooms were very nice, and they were rooms that I wouldn’t mind staying in -- spacious and not cramped in.

Sterling was quite clean. It has a memory care units and spacious apartments. I can’t think of anything negative. The staff, from what I’ve seen, seems extremely kind and competent.

I did have my mom in a different facility where I really wasn't happy at all. But at Sterling Ridge, they seem to be more attentive to their residents, so they have more activities, and they seem to pay more attention to the residents than what I've seen in other facilities. I think the staff is really good. They are very experienced, and you can tell that they really know what they are doing. They can pick up on when the residents are tired and need to take a nap, or when they want to do something. They noticed when my mom had a little mark on her hip, and they let me know, so they are very aware and very attentive of what is going on with the residents. She has been to two other places, and she is really thriving at Sterling Ridge, whereas at the other ones, she was kind of going downhill. So they really helped bring her back and take her back up, and she is really happy there.
