"I met a lot of the staff at Mission Hills at Rancho Mirage and they were were all amazing, from housekeeping to the activities director to the chefs. It's a smaller facility, but it's nice and they have plenty of activities. The rooms I saw were small and my grandparents needed a larger room. It's very comparable for the price, but the food wasn't that great."

"My friend is at Atria Hacienda. It is an excellent facility. There are lots of activities for the people. The food is fantastic. All the staff is very friendly. The facility is very clean. I looked at several facilities, but I felt Atria was the best. "

"We moved our 84 year old mother to Atria Palm Desert in early 2021. They have done an excellent job managing Covid (in terms of keeping residents safe but not putting them in total lockdown. Their preventative measures have been reasonable. The entire staff has been excellent. During the initial arrival, Cheree, the executive director, was responsive and professional to my questions. She even called me back on her personal time off. Daniel in activities does a great job keeping residents involved in ongoing activities. Mike, in maintenance, addresses items that come up quickly. Debbie, at the front desk, is a great initial presence to Atria. She. Knows everyone by name and is super thoughtful. Memo, the driver, even took my mom’s watch and got new batteries for it. Atria Palm Desert was everything I was looking for in a suitable location for my mom. I would recommend it to anyone. "

"I visited The Carlotta. We looked at all of it. We liked it, and we stayed and had lunch. The people who are there already seemed to be very content and happy. So, the overall feel was positive. The staff was patient and answered questions. The dining area was pleasant and not too big. Everybody seemed to know each other, and a few people came over and said hello to us. The rooms were average, like all of them, nothing special."

"Bayshire Rancho Mirage was a very nice community. They offer an extensive array of activities throughout the month, including games, trips, and all kinds of things. I liked the fact that they just had an extensive social calendar. The pool looked clean and well-maintained. The rooms were very large and very comfortable-looking. They also have an extremely diverse staff, which I appreciated."

"I went to Palm Desert Greens Country Club. I like the different apartments and the activities they have. They had nice apartments. They are on slabs, double-wides, and so forth. You're able to travel in the area on golf carts. They had crafts that my wife would be interested in. They had card clubs and putting clubs. They had miniature golf, a gym, and exercise things. The staff was very knowledgeable and very thorough in showing us around. It was going to be a purchase-type deal. It was very well kept."

"It is very nice and very pleasant in Villa Portofino. Everything is good. What I didn't like is that I have to buy a unit. I didn't want to buy one, I just wanted to rent. They have a restaurant as part of the building. They have a bistro and a store. It was nice, but it's just not for me. The staff was very nice and very helpful. I have no complaints. The facility is very luxurious. The apartments were very nice and very spacious, but it is more than I want. It is very good, but it is just not my taste. "

"There are about 5,000 members in Del Webb, so it’s big. We have a very nice custom home, about 4,000 sq. ft., but there’s no dining room. We own our home. We go out anywhere we want. We have a center where we have swimming pools, horseshoe, woodworking shops, a pool hall, an outdoor theater, and a convention center. One of the nice things is that we’re in a growing community. We have a lot of retail options here. A lot of restaurants, hardware stores, a movie theater and a bowling alley. There’s a lot of good shopping close by. We’re an hour from the beach and an hour from the mountains, so very easily, we could go to the beach in the morning and then go skiing in the afternoon. I would highly recommend it. "

"First of all, Parkwood Apartment at Indio is brand new. In fact, some of the apartments are not quite finished yet. But there are enough apartments ready in our queue. It is also in an area that is very quiet. The management here is good. The staff working there couldn't be better. There's also quite a big and beautiful hall for dining or any events. The sanitation is excellent since it is brand new. Everything is designed for the senior and is well thought out. "

"My husband and I live in the independent living community of Soboba Springs Park in San Jacinto. They have a pool and all kinds of activities going on. They have things going on all the time, as far as men's outings, women's outings, and going out to eat and walking. They have swimming exercises and pool tables. Every holiday, they have a big thing going on, like Christmas parties, which is really interesting. They really celebrate every holiday. The one we had for New Year's Eve, you bring a snack for 6 people, and that's all you do. They have everybody share the food, and they have live music and dancing, and all that kind of good stuff. The people who keep the park up were really good, too. We rent here, and the rent is also really good."

"I am a caregiver for a friend that has lived at Vista Montana for the past 6 months. I visit this assisted living facility very frequently and each time I find the staff extremely attentive. The facility is extremely clean, has attentive medication assistance and offers an array of activities for the residents to keep them active. Prior to coming to Vista Montana in Hemet my friend was at a similar facility in Long Beach which is owned by the same company which was also very good. My complements to the staff at Vista Montana. Please keep up the good work!"
