"My husband and I toured several memory care places in or near Rancho Mirage over the past 3 years, looking for a place that would be suitable for his sister, who was at the point of needing additional care. Being from out of state, this was challenging, but we were most impressed by Atria Rancho Mirage and found the support we needed from Gavin, Atria's Sales Director. From the first visit, he was very instrumental in winning our sister and her husband over by the way he drew them out and engaged them in conversation, and it turned out that both of them ended up moving to Atria! Then he continued to help in special ways, by helping to arrange a "deal" even when the financial deal had expired, by finding furniture for their rooms (and it is lovely furniture), and by being a welcoming presence when they arrived. This was all much appreciated! Many thanks to Gavin - we will not forget your kindness and hard work."

"I picked Atria Hacienda for my parents, and they will be moving soon. I chose it because it didn?t feel like an assisted living place. The apartments felt like condominiums and not like a hotel. Everything looks very new. The room is very clean and really pretty. They all have balconies or patios, and I really like that. The staff were very helpful, and they always tell me that I can call them, and every time I call them, they call me right back. We have eaten there several times, and there are two dining rooms, and the food is very good. They have a very large exercise room with an outdoor pool and Jacuzzi. I would like to live there. I would just like for them to have an indoor pool because when it's summertime, nobody can use the pool because it's too hot. "

"Just wanted to give a shout out to the staff and especially the care and culinary team as they have made our dad's recent move seamless. He has some cognition issues and they have helped him integrate and make new friends the day he walked in the door on our first visit. He loves the food and participates in the daily happy hour. It is also a nice benefit being directly across the street from the Joslyn Senior Center, as he enjoys the Sunday concerts there. Thanks to everyone making him feel safe and comfortable!"

"Our second choice would have been The Carlotta. It's a very big facility. It's very luxurious. If you want, you can live in a townhome, or you can live in a facility building. And they also have a skilled nursing facility there attached to them. The staff was lovely and gave us a tour. They answered all our questions. They looked at our insurance and they guided us. It's a beautiful facility."

"The advantage of Bayshire Rancho Mirage is that it's right across the street from Eisenhower Medical Center and it's right next door to where my husband is taking chemo. I was able to tour the independent living. They have everything from independent living up to a place for Alzheimer's. I was fairly impressed with it. It was new and it was fresh. It seemed to be relaxing. Its proximity to the medical facilities was really important for me because I have to go over to that hospital regularly. The staff was excellent, she let us ask questions and answer them. She did not try and direct the whole conversation. Everyone we met was great."
