The people at Red Rock Pointe Retirement Community are very nice. I didn't see that much in the community. The residents were all sitting around playing bingo or something. My experience was good. The staff was very thorough and very complete. They offered additional assistance as far as when having to move, they have connections with various realtors and offered the different specials that they would have from time to time, as far as the prices of the rooms, and so forth. The kitchens are almost nonexistent. As far as being able to sit somewhere and eat, you have to go right into the living room. It's like one room, and there's like a little area with the kitchen gadgets, refrigerators, stove, and so forth. That was good, but as far as a place to sit down and have a cup of coffee or something, it's cramped. The facility was nice. I didn't like the general location of the place.

We liked Red Rock Pointe Retirement Community, but we are not yet ready to move at this point. Nevertheless, at Red Rock, we felt very accepted. It felt very warm. When we walked in it felt like family. They had a great staff. They have a travel program, which is awesome. That travel program was high on our list. They have a good activities director. They have many cool outings. The fact that you could go down and get your meals three times a day and that it's all-inclusive is big for us. Their rooms had more storage and were bigger, too. Their food wasn't quite up to par. The people that live there said that it could be better. However, the staff who gave the tour was awesome. Each activity had its room. If you were going to play cards there was a card room, if you were going to do art there was an art room, and if you wanted to do computers there was a computer room.

We toured the Red Rock Pointe Retirement Community. We liked the prices compared to the other facilities. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were very clean. The bathrooms have places to hang clothes and leave things on the counter like you would normally do. So, the bathrooms were excellent. I felt welcomed.

Apartment room sizes a bit tight but in comparison to other facilities we toured it is similar and has a bit more storage areas in closets. Not enough separation (for me) between the living room and kitchen. Very little space for an eating table. Love that everything you can think of included in price, utilities, food, activities (minus a jacuzzi and swimming pool). Staff is excellent. A very inviting, warm feeling about the whole facility. Decorating and colors as well as layout very nice and comfortable. Very homey feeling.

Have lived here about a year and wanted to make an apartment change. the management staff worked with me and made it so easy. I plan to stay for a long time, great place but better staff and management staff. You can't ask for a better place. Truly 5 Star Facility.

We went to Red Rock Pointe Retirement Resort. They had more than what we were looking for, like they would serve meals every day. And we just were not interested in any of that. It was a beautiful property. The food was excellent, it had a movie theater, exercise room, a nice-sized pool, and a gated community. But it just was not for us. The staff were fantastic. They just waited on us hand and foot.

Red Rock Pointe Retirement Community is a three-story building with some 60 apartments. They offer housekeeping services and linen changes every week. You wash your laundry. It has a full kitchen in the apartments. The apartments are either one or two-bedroom apartments. They have no three-bedroom apartments. The commons include the theater, a couple of dining rooms, a gym, a fitness room, a library, a computer room, and a meeting room. They offer three meals a day. There is an abundance of activities that they provide, some of which are run by the residents themselves. They offer transportation mostly within a 10-mile radius for medical appointments and within a shorter area for non-medical. The staff was very friendly. The residents seemed friendly too. I went during a weekday, and there were several residents walking around. They smiled and waved at me. They seemed welcoming. They have special activities for a new resident. I looked at a sample menu, and it seemed okay. There's no buy-in. You pay a monthly fee. To me, those are the positives. The only hesitancy I have is that I have to have a gluten-free diet, and I'm just not sure that the kitchen is willing to commit to having gluten-free items, entrees for three meals every day. They're part of a national large company that has retirement facilities all around. You actually can go from one to the other and use a guest suite that they have if it's available. You visit someplace else, and you don't pay anything. You get the same benefits because you already paid it at the original community. So you get three meals a day, and you can engage in social activities. That seems a nice opportunity to go see other areas of the country. This was probably the highest on my list. The facility was very nice. I wouldn't say it was plush, but it was landscaped very well and with pleasing views. Twice a month, they have an outing. They'll take the residents to someplace.

We, too, think our residents are the BEST part of our community with our staff coming a close second – they love to welcome visitors and especially new residents! If I could clarify just a few things that you mentioned that might have been misunderstood. Our community has 128 apartments with a nice mix of studio, one, two and three-bedroom options available at this time. Rather than a “meeting room”, we have a large 150 seat Theatre and Lounge that are essentially multi-purpose rooms, used for community meetings, religious services, happy hour, bingo and so much more! We also have “conversation rooms” that include ping pong, library and reading room, billiards room, games and puzzles, poker room, and arts and crafts rooms – never a lack of space for our residents to get together. In regards to your dietary needs, as with our other residents who have allergies or restrictions, we provide a wide variety of items to choose from each meal and rely on our residents to make the best choices for their health. I hope this helps clarify some things and we hope to see you again soon!
