Assisted Living Communities in Kingman, AZ

"Oh my, what a place. There is new management and the changes are awsome. The building is emaculent. Remodeling everywhere. The pool and spa is being remodeled. They are doing adult day care, respite care and building a beautiful secured memory care unit. I am so impressed. I brought my parents and had lunch. We didn't make an appointment just walked in. The food was exceptional, the staff was so warm and friendly and treated all the residents with care and compassion. I had the chance to chat with some of the residents and family members there visiting and they couldn't say enough great things. They even have 3 licensed nurses, a medical director that see's residents there on site, an eye doctor and podiatrist that comes there. If that wasn't enough, the lab comes there weekly and they can have x-rays, ekg's and sonograms done there. They have an extensive activity calendar and a brand new bus. I am so excited that my folks chose to live here and Linda helped them easily through the move in process. Thank you Sunridge Village ! "

"This is a small private facility built on a medicalo campus. The house and grounds are well maintained. They are nlicensed for ten residents. The roomms are private and semi-private. All are handicapped equipped. They do assistance with laundry and housekeeping.' There are two meals a day which is cooked in the campuses main kitchen and delivered and one meal and snacks cooked in house, The food is ok. The residents are indepent with some assistance level of care. They must be able to get around on their own. The caregivers are certified. They can transport to doctors appointments. They do in house activities such as exercises, cards, movies, and games. They have a nice patio and garden area in front and a backyard with sitting area and greenery. They sometimes transport to shopping or events. The staff seems nice and the rooms clean. "

"This is a forty bed assisted living facility. The building and grounds are well maintained.The lanscape has trees and greenery. The single bedrooms with privathe baths on three wings.All are handicapped equipped and there is an emergency system. They have three dining rooms,social hall, and beauty parlor., There is an enclosed courtyard with a patio. The dining room serves three restaurant style meals and snacks daily. The food is ok. They do housekeeping and laundry. They do not have nurses or doctors who come in. Transport to appointments is left up to family.All caregivers and med techs are certified.If residents are injured or ill they send them out by ambulance. They have in house activities such as exercises, movies, games, parties, and some entertainment comes in. They have a lady who goes weekly to shop for residents. They do not go out unless with family. This facility seems limited for activities and there is a lack of a caring environment. "

"White Cliffs was excellent and I would like to move in there tomorrow. It looked like a very caring and happy place. People were relating and talking to each other and there were things for them to do. It was a lovely facility that felt like a ritzy hotel. I was impressed. They had lovely laundries on every floor, a nice place for a movie theater and church activities, and an exercise room. The dining room had linen, dishes, and silverware. They also had a reading room. I met a cook, electrician, and a handyman who all seemed very friendly and seemed to know what they were talking about. The place was beautiful and lovely, well taken care of and well-decorated with paintings on the walls and sculptures on the tables. Everything is clean."

"My friend is moving into La Bella Assisted Living on January 1. It's a five-bedroom house that they converted to an assisted living. The rooms were like the normal-sized bedrooms in a ranch house. It's very nice. I had Christmas dinner with them, and they had excellent food. They had excellent people on duty as well. The house and the people are clean. They really take good care of their people. Everything I saw looked good. One of the nurses is from Jamaica and knows how to cook. We had chicken, ham, stuffing, jams, and ambrosia salad. It was excellent. They had pies and cakes afterwards, but they buy their pies because they said they don't have a good baker. The facility was nice and clean, and the backyard was in good shape and that's where they do barbecues. It's well contained."

"I toured Hope Haven. It was very clean, perhaps a little small, but on the same token, it is what I am looking for. They have cards and bingo. The staff members were very friendly."
