I found a place for myself at the senior community of Thomas Taylor Towers in Westland. I chose it because my mom lived there until she passed away 11 years ago. She lived there a long time, and I knew they were nice, so I went over, and they helped me out. They kind of moved me up the waiting list a little bit because they knew my mom and the family. I signed the papers, so I just have to move my bed and stuff in there on Friday. I visited the place, and the apartments are really nice. They've all been remodeled along with everything else on the main floor. It's nice and crisp and clean. It has a lot of different rooms, too. It has a doctor and a podiatrist that does the feet with an office there. It's nice because seniors are always having trouble with their toes. It has an exercise room and a recreational area with a pool table and a dart board. It has a seating area, two large couches and big screen TV, and tables to play games at. The place is really nice. They do not serve food there, but there's a senior center down the street that does. Otherwise, you make your own food.
