The care is good at Metacare Inc. I like the staff. They are very attentive, and even if there are only 16 residents, there's always a ton of staff on site 24/7. They do have some private rooms, but the majority of them have two people in each room. They have different living rooms that have TV, a giant piano -- and someone comes and plays with it -- and then the dining area and a nice little kitchen. They do have some rooms upstairs, which is the only thing I don't like because my mom is upstairs, but they did put a lift chair in. They're on a very nice piece of property with sheep and chickens. It's beautiful, but there are a lot of patients there with Alzheimer's, and they need more to do. They have people come in, and they do a few activities, but there should be more.

My Mom was a resident for 10 months. My sister and I really liked the home atmosphere of the place. It is like one big family. We were happy with the care our Mom received here. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I would recommend it for anyone looking for personal one on one care.

It is a safe, Christian home environment which allows the residents to make choices. Staff is very caring (24/7). They strive to provide residents a variety of events and activities to keep themselves strong ~ both body and mind. METACARE Inc. is known for its "Children Helping Seniors" community events and stimulating its environment through art, music, and dog therapy programs which is great!
