Serene Gardens of Imlay City

Dad is in Serene Gardens of Imlay City. The staff is amazing. They are so kind and so hands-on. My dad loves them, and they're so good to him, and I think they're quite patient. They put up with a lot. Those residents don't really know what they're doing, and their staff is a great group. We have been so pleased with them. They have a beauty salon in there, like they do the haircuts and everything. They have a general area where people come in to sing, play guitar, or play bingo. They have gatherings, like bingo and trivia games. They try to get them to socialize. I see their meals, the amount, the preparation in general, and food choices, and they're perfect. It's a beautiful facility. He didn't participate in activities at first, but they've kind of brought him in.

My wife has moved into Serene Gardens of Imlay City. They're very polite and very helpful. She has to have assistance with everything, going to the bathroom, and taking a shower. She can't walk. They're doing everything that I don't have time to get done. The staff is very respectful. My wife hasn't complained about the food, so that's good. They take care of her. The facility is excellent. She hasn't participated in any of the activities yet. She's only been there a few days and they've taken care of her transportation for radiation treatments and stuff like that. They have that all taken care of for me.
