Clarendale Ann Arbor

I toured Clarendale Ann Arbor. What I like best about it is that it doesn't feel institutional. It feels very home-like. I looked at one sample and the floor plans of the others, and they're very similar to the other places. The staff was very pleasant and informative. I saw the pool, exercise space, dining rooms, and outdoor area.

We're on the waiting list. It is beautiful. They have a lot of activities, and the people seem happy there. The people I spoke to seemed friendly. They listened, and they presented well. We saw the menu, and we tasted their food. The menu and the food were excellent. They had nice equipment in their exercise room, too.

My mother-in-law moved in. It is a 5-star rating because of the care that she received when we were considering her moving there and the support she got for moving into the facility. The food is fabulous. They take good care of her. She's already making friends, attending activities, and is happy as a lark. The facility is gorgeous. They have a wide variety of activities.

It has very nice, very helpful people, and a welcoming atmosphere. Most of their activities were cancelled because of COVID, but they have lots of activities normally. They have very good food and an accommodating staff. Sometimes the food is a little fancy, but the chef is willing to make what you want. They're brand new. I think they have some kinks to work out, but I would give them a good rating.
