My mom moved into Golden Shield Ark Assisted Living Facility. She's sharing a room. It's very clean. The owner is a little aggressive. I've had to tell her not to talk to me in a certain way. They have a TV, and that's all I know they do.

Golden Shield Ark Assisted Living Facility is a very quiet community with lots of trees and woods which provide clean fresh air and its a unique semi-rural and semi-urban environment. Largo metro train station is about 6 6-minute drive from our community, the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center Largo is 6 minutes drive, Largo shopping center and town shopping center malls are 8 minutes drive. Our staff is very experienced and they work as team members. I like that Golden Shield Ark Assisted Living Facility is small and family-owned and it's close to my grandfather. I don't know if there's anything that I like the least. The staff was very knowledgeable. I believe two of them are RNs, and I forgot what the certification is for the other aide. It was very clean. It's a small homelike atmosphere. It's very similar to my grandmother's house, so it was great. The dining area was fine. The size of the room was great and the layout was nice. They will allow us to bring a hospital bed and it has enough room for a Hoyer lift. There were probably two or three people that could sit in the room with her. It was great.
