The people who toured me around Hillside Senior Apartments were very nice, knowledgeable, and pleasant. The rooms and their sizes were good. If I had the money, I would move there. Their dining area was very nice, and the upkeep of the place was very good. They also have a patio and a garden, and they're beautiful.

Hillside Senior Apartments is very neat, but the rooms are very small. It can only fit like a full bed. I don't think it can even fit a queen-size bed. I saw a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom, and it has the same floor plan. The two-bedroom is smaller due to its size. The room sizes are smaller. Even the living room of the two-bedroom is smaller than the one-bedroom because the second bedroom had to take up space. Otherwise, it was OK. The place was nice, clean, and quiet, which I like. It seemed like everybody was in their apartments, or maybe it's the time of the day that I went there. I went there at midday. The common room was very nice and clean. The staff was very welcoming, kind, and nice. They have a kitchen where, if you decide to make food for your guests, you can host them there and cook for them in that living area instead of taking them to your own apartment. They took us to the laundry room.

I visited the independent living. I like the cleanliness of it. I thought it was a very clean place. I like the people who work there because they are very helpful. It was also in a nice area, and I like that.

I was in here. It was OK. I just didn't like the idea of having to go to the laundry room. In the winter, you had a hard time, all the ice and snow, and that's the only thing that I didn't like. But everything was right there. You had the bathroom right there, the bedroom, and there's a living room and the kitchen. It wasn't the place, it was just me. There was always somebody there to help you. I liked the staff. They had someone that delivered lunches for a while, but then they stopped. It was a nice, clean place. They kept it clean. They have a lot of activities. It was just closed at that time when I was there. They had a room for exercise, and they had a laundry facility, and they had a bar where they could watch TV, listen to music, and then they had a computer. They had a real big, huge courtyard. You can go barbecue, you can relax, it's just huge, with benches.

I do live here and as far as I know this is independent living…. I have had no major problems and minor problems have been taken care of immediately and my interaction with staff has been fine….this is an over 62 community and I find that the people who complain the most are the really “crabby” ones to start with!!!!!!They complain about everything!!!!! CLY
