They were friendly, and they respected the person that they were going to serve. I liked the facility very much. The rooms are bright, clean, and very nice. They have activities from the morning till night. They don't have it in the hall. They have it in the room."

"My dad moved into Creekside Village. The doctors and everybody else are very nice there. I love the gym and the dining room. His bedroom looks OK, but the carpet and the bed could use some cleaning. The upkeep and cleanliness of the place is good. My dad was eating supper last night, and it looked pretty good. He had a nice fresh salad with chicken in it and soup."

"Visited my neighbors father this morning. Staff engaged with residents in a game of Wii-Bowling! Everyone having a fun time. I was invited to stay for lunch. No one was expecting me but I was made at home! Oven fried chicken, home made mashed potatoes and tomatoes out of the garden. Can't wait until I'm old enough to move in!!! "

"I went to Reflections - A Senior Living Community. It's a house style. It's smaller and it's more intimate, and I like that. The facilities are in good condition. The area around is nice. It's two blocks from a hospital and that's nice to have. The personnel were very friendly and seemed very professional. The rooms were nice and spacious. They didn't have as much stuff. There was no kitchen in the rooms, unlike what they had at the other place. But that wasn't a huge deal. My impression of Reflections was that it was pretty basic. You got the service, you got the facilities, you got what appeared to be very good medical support and resident support, but not a lot of amenities. They had some things going on like bingo and things like that I remember, but not a lot of extra stuff. There are no frills that I could see. Their facilities are not as nice as the other places, but from what I've been able to figure out, they're probably going to be less expensive as well. I like the facility. There are just not a lot of extras there. The staff were very professional and very upbeat. They seemed to have people that had been there for a long time, which is a good sign, and I saw nothing negative. It was clean. Maintenance appeared to be good. The only thing on the facility was the lack of some features, for example, no kitchen in the rooms. They have a very good chef, and everything there is homemade. I was impressed with that."

"This is a wonderful facility. I toured many other places and nothing came close to this wonderful home. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The owner, Ramesh, is an amazing person. He truly cares about every resident and does his absolute best to make sure everyone is well taken care of. My father was resident here, he was a man of few words but he spoke highly of Ramesh and Sycamore Acres."

"We toured Miracle Manor Assisted Living for my wife. The building of the house is kind of rundown. I would say it's ancient. When we were there, there was a van with some workers, and they were working on something over there. The owner, though, was very nice and very helpful. However, it's too far. The room is moderate. They have a TV. They also have a living room for all of them. There are moving chairs on the rail for the stairs, that go up and down. Other than that, there's nothing else."

"I have moved into Goddard Comfort Homes. They have been very great. They have been good with everything. They've delivered everything they've said. The owners are very responsive. If you have any concerns or questions, they listen and act on it. The place is very nice. It's very small. They can only handle five people, so it's like living at home with a built-in cook, maid, and laundry person. My biggest concern was that if they have a doctor that I could reach easily if I got sick during the night or any time during the day, and they have someone on duty 24-hours a day. That's my main driving force. The place is clean. If I have ideas or suggestions, they'll listen to them. We're off to a great start. The staff is very good. The food has been good, too. I told them what kind of pasta sauce I want, and I think they're going to buy it. The facility has no steps and no elevators. It's very spacious, warm, and welcoming. I have my own carport for parking my car, which is an unexpected plus. I think their prices are extremely reasonable."

"AlfredHouse V was nice. It was a house setting. It's very clean and updated. We were looking for a building with a gym, but it doesn't have an exercise facility. They said they could build one, but right now it doesn't have one. The person who gave us the tour was fantastic. He was excellent. The rooms are spacious. They're clean and well-furnished, and the bathrooms are nice. They have options for shared bathrooms or private bathrooms. It met our needs. But right now, we're not ready to move yet. The dining area was very nice. They have a kitchen and an eating area in addition to the bedrooms. An activities person comes in twice a day, 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. There's a shared activities director for other Alfred Houses."

"I am thankful every day for Elternhaus. The first time I visited, one of my impressions as a nurse was that I would like to work there. When you walk in the door, you sense love and respect. I had already visited many places trying to find a place for my 60 year old husband with Alzheimers. I left each one with a feeling of despair. Elternhaus focuses on the right things for its residents; kindness, patience, acceptance and love. It is in a rural setting, beautiful and peaceful. There are 10 acres to walk in and enjoy the views of nearby sheep and horses. Elternhaus is a family. It is unique. My interactions with the staff are always positive. I regard them with the utmost respect for the work that they do with so much love. They go above and beyond in so many ways. There is a separate house in the back of the property for people who are more independent but need some assistance. It is warm and comfortable. The meals are healthy and homemade. In the summer, residents work in raised beds to help grow flowers and vegetables. There are bee hives and residents can stroll around the property. Individuals living there come to the main house for activities. "
