They were friendly, and they respected the person that they were going to serve. I liked the facility very much. The rooms are bright, clean, and very nice. They have activities from the morning till night. They don't have it in the hall. They have it in the room."

"Warm Heart Family seemed to be a nice facility but didn’t have the means necessary to handle my father’s condition. The location was difficult to find, but it was very nice. The rooms were very basic. They allowed you to bring in personal items for your family member, which was very nice because some places did not allow that. The staff people were all very wonderful and seemed to be very knowledgeable. It seemed a little expensive, but it was a private room and they had plenty of staff on-site. If they had been able to accommodate his needs, it would have been worth it. "

The home cooked meals were delicious, balanced and actually added well needed pounds ro his body. "My dad moved into Creekside Village. The doctors and everybody else are very nice there. I love the gym and the dining room. His bedroom looks OK, but the carpet and the bed could use some cleaning. The upkeep and cleanliness of the place is good. My dad was eating supper last night, and it looked pretty good. He had a nice fresh salad with chicken in it and soup."

"Visited my neighbors father this morning. Staff engaged with residents in a game of Wii-Bowling! Everyone having a fun time. I was invited to stay for lunch. No one was expecting me but I was made at home! Oven fried chicken, home made mashed potatoes and tomatoes out of the garden. Can't wait until I'm old enough to move in!!! "

"This is a wonderful facility. I toured many other places and nothing came close to this wonderful home. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The owner, Ramesh, is an amazing person. He truly cares about every resident and does his absolute best to make sure everyone is well taken care of. My father was resident here, he was a man of few words but he spoke highly of Ramesh and Sycamore Acres."

"We toured Miracle Manor Assisted Living for my wife. The building of the house is kind of rundown. I would say it's ancient. When we were there, there was a van with some workers, and they were working on something over there. The owner, though, was very nice and very helpful. However, it's too far. The room is moderate. They have a TV. They also have a living room for all of them. There are moving chairs on the rail for the stairs, that go up and down. Other than that, there's nothing else."

"I have moved into Goddard Comfort Homes. They have been very great. They have been good with everything. They've delivered everything they've said. The owners are very responsive. If you have any concerns or questions, they listen and act on it. The place is very nice. It's very small. They can only handle five people, so it's like living at home with a built-in cook, maid, and laundry person. My biggest concern was that if they have a doctor that I could reach easily if I got sick during the night or any time during the day, and they have someone on duty 24-hours a day. That's my main driving force. The place is clean. If I have ideas or suggestions, they'll listen to them. We're off to a great start. The staff is very good. The food has been good, too. I told them what kind of pasta sauce I want, and I think they're going to buy it. The facility has no steps and no elevators. It's very spacious, warm, and welcoming. I have my own carport for parking my car, which is an unexpected plus. I think their prices are extremely reasonable."

"I toured The Terraces at Westminster yesterday. It was really clean, and it was very cute. It didn't have a hospital vibe, which was nice. All the staff seemed very friendly. The shared rooms were very small, though. They had a little fine dining area for the food, which gave it a nice feel for the patients. I did not try the food, but it looked good. It also looked like they had a board of activities like a happy hour where a guy comes in and kind of socializes. There was a big crossword puzzle board in the commons area, they had a little puzzle area, and they had like a little barbershop salon. They had a big wraparound porch with a lot of space where you could just go out there and sit, and it was nice."

"I've visited Elternhaus Assisted Living, they're also licensed for memory care because they keep it locked up. It's a bit different than the other place I toured because they accept anybody who wants to live there, and it's faith-based. The rooms were adequate and nice, they had private rooms. The way it was built is sort of in a great big square, and the rooms are all around that square, and there's like a courtyard in the middle. So everyone has views of the outside from their rooms, which is very nice. We didn't see any in action, but they mentioned that they regularly do activities with them. It seems they are vegetarian cooking only. It's a somewhat older facility but everyone there is very caring, it's a beautiful environment and they can go out for walks. It's a lovely area. The staff who gave me the sales pitch was very knowledgeable and friendly, and he knew all of the residents by name."
