Brookdale Hagerstown is very nice. My wife is in the memory care unit and they're great. The staff try to help her. They always have her dressed nicely and keep her up. I like them. They've got a huge dining room and a garden that she can walk around. They keep the place up clean and everything is nice. When I came over to visit this evening, there was a gentleman that was playing the piano for them and they were singing songs. They also do other things like play games and color pictures. They have things for them to do to keep them busy.

We liked Brookdale Hagerstown. The staff was very polite and informative. It was a very nice building. It was beautiful. The place made me feel good and I thought to myself, I wouldn't mind living there. The layout of the rooms was great. The dining area was very nice, too.

I went to look at Brookdale Hagerstown. The decor was beautiful. The staff was topnotch. The administrator was very friendly. He really knew the staff and the people who worked there. He was really in tune with the place. The facility was very well kept. I saw an empty apartment, and it seemed perfectly fine. They have a place for cooking, and they have a chef. There was a game room and a place for worship. Everyone was very friendly.

We saw Brookdale Hagerstown. The rooms were large. It looked like a spacious place. It was neat. It was in a nice vicinity also. It's close to the hospital. My wife has two to three hospital visits a week on some occasions. The lady we interviewed there was terrific. They're just great, and the location is terrific. The facility is great. It looks terrific, too. It's clean and neat. A lot of the rooms face the outside where you can see the forest. They have an area outside where you can go out and exercise.

Brookdale Hagerstown was excellent. It was very clean. Everyone was very nice. The rooms were a nice size. I would recommend it as opposed to any of the other ones. The other ones, I wouldn't live there myself. They had a lot of activities. Everything was very nice. They gave us cookies to take with us, and they were delicious. The outside was not big. The little bit of outside that they had was very nice and clean.

Brookdale Hagerstown was a wonderful place. The people that I met were wonderful. They were the nicest people. And I think that they respect old people and will take very good care of them. The apartments were very nice. The dining area looked great. It looked like all the activities were wonderful. They had a nail salon and a hair salon. They also allowed pets. This facility would have been perfect for my mother.

We went to look at Brookdale Hagerstown. It will probably be our best option, and it's more affordable. The place is very clean. They are more willing to work with your budget. The staff was very friendly.

My mother is in Brookdale Hagerstown. Everything is really nice there. The landscaping is beautifully maintained. The staff is excellent. It's all top of the line. She is very pleased with the dining. She's very particular, and she thinks the food is wonderful. They have a ton of activities. They have an activities coordinator, and they always have something planned with field trips and lessons. They have a beauty salon.

I was very impressed with Brookdale Hagerstown and Taylor, who gave us the tour, was amazing. We just found something a little bigger; they didn't have a 2-bedroom available which is what we were looking for. The layout of the facility is very nice. It was more of the feel of the place that I liked than the actual amenities. Everybody seemed happy and nice there, it was a warm environment. The staff was wonderful, Taylor especially was very nice and followed up. It was a nice tour. It would be nice if they had more 2-bedrooms available there; they only had four in total.

I went to Brookdale Hagerstown. That was the one I felt very comfortable with when I went on the visit, and it had everything that I'm looking for, for my mother. They'll take her cat. That was the one big thing I was looking at all of them if they took animals. That one has different apartment sizes in it with some like a kitchenette in it and bedroom, or like an efficiency room. So that's what I was looking for. They were the ones I liked. They have a sitting area, they have a little activity area, a dining area, and a courtyard. It was very clean. It was just more inviting. The menu looked very nice, they have a very nice selection of what you can get.

My sister moved into Brookdale Hagerstown. Everything is fine with the place. It's very nice, and they're very accommodating. Everybody is very attentive. I'm happy with all of that so far. There are one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, but she chose the studio apartment on her own. We're thrilled with it. It's plenty roomy. It has a big living area, a nice, big bathroom, and a kitchenette area. It's very nice. They have a full calendar of activities. Even with COVID, they're doing a lot of things in the hallways, and this past Monday, they were allowing visitations. You could call to make an appointment, and two people could visit the resident. They bring the resident out into the dining room. The tables are all six feet apart, and you can have a forty-five-minute visitation, with everybody wearing masks of course. We're happy because before that, you were lucky if you could visit through the window, which was awkward. We had to take a rapid COVID test, and then we were allowed to go back the day we moved her in, and that's the only time I've been able to be there because she's been under quarantine since she's a new resident. From the day we arrived, everybody was extremely nice, very willing to help, and full of information. She's not a good eater, so she's not very interested in the food. It's a nice facility, and everything was painted nicely inside. It looks fresh, new, and nice. I could live there. It's very attractive. There wasn't a single day where there wasn't something to do if you wanted to participate. A lot of it depends on the participation of the person, and she can't participate yet because she's still quarantined. The main reason that I ended up choosing Brookdale is that I had several neighbors who were out there when it was under a different name than Brookdale. So I was familiar with it, plus it suited my travel arrangements for myself to get there. It's convenient for me. They have a beauty shop, 24/7 nursing, a nurses' station, an exercise room, and a big visitation room with a fireplace that's very lovely. You can have visitors and go out there and sit with them. They have a game room and a big dining room.

My mother moved into Brookdale Hagerstown. I don't have much positive to say. We paid for my mother to have 2 meals, which is typically between 11 and 1 pm. My sister was with my mom, it was ten minutes after one, and no one had come to take her to lunch. I called and they said they took her at 12:45 pm, so they tell you something, just to tell you something, and it's not accurate. I have multiple examples of that. Communication is terrible, I'm not happy, and my siblings are not pleased either. The restaurant style dining hall is nice, the parking is adequate, the reception and community are well provisioned, and the place looks well-maintained.

Brookdale Hagerstown is very nice and has very nice people working there. My mom's really happy, pleased to be there, and feels comfortable and welcome. She is already on her third month there. I've had a few problems with staff because I'm getting some answers with some things. They seem to have a lot going on there and my mom is starting to get into doing things with them.

Brookdale Hagerstown was really nice. I like it a lot, but it's out of my mother's price range. They have almost the same wall colors and type of furniture as other places we have visited. It's a really nice community. If they had a nurse go down there to talk to my mom and evaluate her, and the price was not so high, we would have gone there. They had crafts, and I was shocked that they have animals like birds and guinea pigs, they also had art classes. If the residents can't bathe in the regular bath tub they can use the shower instead. The staff was very friendly, too. Another reason I like them is that they have a little area like a kitchenette. They made the rooms look more like little apartments, specially for the dementia patients, and I think that was neat.

My uncle lived in this community for over 12 years. A month or so ago, we had to move him to a nursing home and it was very sad. Our family misses the staff at this community and how they always went out of their way and understood all of his quirks. They are very caring and took very good care of him. He is not always the easiest person to get along with. I recommend this community. If I ever need assisted living it is where I will be going.

BEWARE: Nursing staff are dangerously incompetent. The place smells like urine and the staff are rude.

When first entering this facility you think - wow, this is really nice - until you have to your their area for dementia residents - terrible urine odor, dirty, residents unkempt, residents with suspicious looking "sores" on their arms, etc. While the regular units appear okay, their dementia residents live in filth - after touring, decided no one in my family is going there! Awful

Brookdale Hagerstown was the best fit for my friend from all the places that we went. It has a rom that is just right for her. The place allowed a glass of wine with doctor’s approval. They have a patio where you could go out and smoke. Those features were very important for her. The staff were knowledgeable and gave us the information we needed.

Brookdale Hagerstown was a pretty nice place. The thing I liked most about it was that you can get a one-bedroom apartment. They play bingo, have outings, and have a place to get your hair done. It was a bit cheaper compared to other facilities and had a really good menu. Overall, I liked this place.

Brookdale Hagerstown was very nice. There was a little misunderstanding of what was expected for the fees. We went to visit it, met one of the residents and talked, and my father decided not to go there. The staff seemed friendly enough. There weren’t very many things to do with people just sitting around where the front door was. That was it.

It is called Brookdale. I'd looked at three that were closest to where we live and there wasn't a lot of difference in any of them and this was the closest plus we have used them once before and that is why we chose them for my mother-in-law. Their menu was okay and their dining room was open style. Actually, they had the normal list of activities that the other places had. Personally, I cannot rate it any better or worse than the other two places that I visited. It is pretty much the same.

I have looked at three other nursing homes in our area, and it is the closest. We had also had used them in the past. Those were the two reasons why I chose this nursing home for my mother-in-law. The rooms were fine. They were pretty similar with the other places I looked at. I also tried eating there. They served good menus in an open style dining room. They had the normal list of activities such as bingos and trips. Even though my mother-in-law has not yet lived there, the community appears to be good enough.

The staff was very friendly and gracious. I had lunch with them, and the food was very good. It was clean, the residents looked happy to be there, and their attitude is happy. I was able to see a couple of rooms; it was well-kept and clean, and the assisted living quarters were clean and cheerful. Each of the doors were decorated so it felt homey. They were able to bring their own decorations to put in their rooms, they had scheduled activities, and the grounds are well-kept. I was there at lunch time, they had a calendar with the event, but I wasn’t there for any of those. The staff was very caring, and the person who assisted me was very personable and caring.

My mother is happy. We chose it because of the location, and the facility has a kind of modern setting. Everything seems to be good, and she complements the food a lot, so I think that is fine. The rooms are very spacious and that was another reason why we chose it. The staff seems to be pretty good. She has been there for two months, and we haven't had any complaints about the staff. They are all friendly and very professional. As far as I understand from my mother, the food is extremely good. She is really happy with the meal choices and things of that nature. They have the typical senior style activities on site, and they offer transportation to outside activities, which they do every other week. I liked the modern feel of the facility compared to other ones here in town, which kind of seem very dated or very small in room size and things of that nature.

Right now, my mom is here. The facility is close to where I am now. The price is reasonable and the staff seemed friendly. The room that she got was a nice room and it was clean. It had a good view. With the food, I can say its institutional food, but they do have options if you don’t want to eat what's on the menu. I like the staff and the place is very clean. It didn’t smell like some assisted living places do.

I am living in here. It is always clean. I like that people here look happy and satisfied. I have two rooms, a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a little kitchenette. It doesn't have a stove, but it has a refrigerator and a sink. The food is kind of institution food. It is not bad, but it is not homemade food. The staff is trying to be very nice and pleasant.

Me and my brother visited. The facility is clean and very nice. They had a community and a dining room which are both very nice. The food is very good. They also have different activities like singing, dancing, and also some exercises. They also have someone that comes in and plays music. They also have games like bingo. Overall, it's a nice facility.

It is a very nice and clean facility. All the residents seemed happy when I walked through. I love the rooms. Of all the ones I went to, they had the best rooms because they were very big and roomy. The place looks like a big office building. It's pretty and well designed, but it looks institutional.
