The first apt. my wife was moved into was filthy. With food from a past renter still in the oven and cockroaches and spiders all over. The toilet was not even bolted to the floor! Water leaked from the toilet and tub faucet constantly. Closet doors would fall off regularly and it stunk. I even had the police escourt me into the building once to document the abuse, they left my wife in a diarrhea filled diaper for over 6 hours. She had even waved down workers in the hallway begging for help and they said they were too busy. During covid 19, my wife's youngest child died and they were going to place her in isolation because she went to the hospital to be with her girl. I took her home and for 2 months took care of her. Her rent there took all of her social security but 100 dollars and trying to feed herself she fell $120.00 behind, and during covid 19 they evicted her for that. THEY ARE NOT GOOD PEOPLE AT ALL!

My husband & I visited as we are seeking assisted living for his mother. We were empressed, the facility as clean and nicely decorated. The staff and residents we met were friendly. One resident stated he has lived there for 7 years and likes it. They keep us busy and active was his statement.

There have been alot of changes in this facility in the last year. Overall improvements in staff and atmosphere. I visited this place for my mom after having had an uncle here in past and the changes are really great. I would recommend it to anyone not wanting a boring, quiet lifestyle. It has a friendly and fun atmosphere, and can definitely see that they truly do try to meet all the needs.

This facility is not financially well off, so don't expect much. Yes, the staff is caring and responsible, but the facility is entirely lacking in decor and atmosphere. There are a lot of activities provided for residents such as: going shopping at the grocery store, playing bingo, live piano players and ceramics. However, many residents choose to stay in their rooms all day instead of socializing with others. This is not a facility for an active older person, but rather for one seeking a very quiet and relaxed lifestyle. The facility also accepts younger residents/those who have prematurely aged(many due to prior drug use). The facility unfortunately suffers a constant smell. The CNAs often slack in their duties and seem generally disinterested in their job obligations. Upper management has been very tumultuous at Cherry Creek which has caused a lot of shifting in worker obligations. Staff has suffered payment cuts, and it shows.

My grandmother lives in the facility and it's the best I've seen so far. She is a diabetic so she has to take insulin and other med's. The nursing staff is always right on time to give her the meds and don't ever keep her waiting for them. The atmosphere is very caring and friendly as well.I have seen first hand that the residents are highly respected and the staff treat them as if they are family. They provide a lot of different activities for the residents to participate in so that they keep busy. I would highly recommend this assisted living facility to others.
