"We visited Regency Residence, but mom is not ready yet. The woman who showed us around -- the director -- was very informative, we liked the kitchen, the people were involved, and it seemed very nice. The 1-bedrooom room has a better lay out, and it was clean. "

"I think this facility is a model example of what an assisted living facility should be. The facilities are clean and sectioned off into separate quarters for those who are able to function by themselves and for those who need around the clock care. The staff is incredible. They know their residents and cater to their needs. They are always friendly and very helpful to those visiting as well. Edwinola's facilities are standard for an assisted living facility. They have a nice-sized dining room, a large sitting room with a piano and chairs, a salon, and game room. Residents also get to enjoy the park outside of the Edwinola and its huge wraparound porch, complete with rocking chairs because assistants schedule outside time.I worked mostly with the activities director (who is no longer there), and I felt the business had its residents' happiness in mind. It offered many activities, and the residents were very grateful for them. I watched residents enjoy playing the Wii, board games, sing-a-longs, and art projects. "

"I am treated with respect here unlike my residence at previous facilities. The staff here is nice and understanding."

"Tampa Gardens Senior Living was a very nice place, and they were in the process of renovating. The staff seemed nice. The sales director was fantastic. The menu looked delicious, but I did not try the food. The studio apartments are small, but the 1-bedroom apartments are roomier. The place was very clean, but I feel like it was a little dark in the entrance area. There was a guitar player and someone singing for the residents while I was there, and several people were sitting there enjoying the music."

"It is a very big community. They have several floors. It is the best one I've visited. It's very clean and very well structured. The staff was very nice and seemed to be concerned about our situation. However, in the end, they couldn't help us because of my brother's criminal record in the past. The dining area was set up like a hotel. The private room was nice and roomy, and it had a bathroom. The residents all seemed happy and engaged in whatever activity they were doing."

"It was a beautiful place. It's almost five-stars. It's very, very nice. I was toured by a salesperson, and it was a great tour. We got to see an apartment and all the facilities. It was a one-bedroom apartment and pretty much brand new. It had a beautiful kitchen, beautiful bathrooms, a laundry area, and it was very spacious. They also had a theater, a bar, or social area where you can have drinks and have a community kind of hang out. There were two or three restaurants, an exercise room, a pool, and pretty much everything you'd want in an assisted living environment. I think it's really one of the nicest ones around, but it's a large community, and it would not work out for my dad, he would get lost. There were a lot of long hallways where you couldn't quite know where you were."

"My father has moved into Elevated Estates of Spring Hill. What I like best about the place is the location. It's in a location that's quieter than most areas. It's off of the main road, and a lot of trees give a little bit of acoustic quiet, so it does help. It does need some work as far as the grounds. There are some issues with the grounds itself, but overall it's pretty good. I've seen the activities list and they have a varied list of bingo and game night and a couple of other things. The staff is caring, friendly, active, and involved. I saw no amenities. They are allowed to go to another facility less than 200 yards away, but I didn't get a chance to go over there. They have an outdoor gazebo that's weathered and could use some upkeep."

"We have had my Father-in-law at Crown Pointe a few times for when he got out of the hospital . Its a beautiful facility and very cozy. The staff is AMAZING!! - from Hazel in housekeeping Gordon in the kitchen, Gary in maintenance, Sally in the business office, Diane in activities and all the Nursing staff especially Sandy the administrator!! they all took such good care of him!!! And he has talked about going back there if we decide to take a trip with our children and grandkids. Stop by you wont be disappointed!! you are a part of their family there not another number like at other facilities "

"It has been a wonderful experience at Heritage Pines. The maintenance of the community was A+. We like the activities. We have tennis and picket ball. We have a craft room, a card room, and we have bingo going on. We also have a pool and water aerobics. I like the clubhouse, and I also like the camaraderie around with our neighbors. Overall, it's an excellent community to live in. "

"I'm considering Banyan Senior Apartments. It is an independent living facility. They have one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. They do have some activities that you can join if you want to, e.g., they have bingo and they have trips. They also offer transportation to stores. They also have a pool as part of this facility. "

"Oak Grove ALF is a small place, and so it's not overwhelming. The people were very nice, helpful, and seemed concerned about their residents and I liked where it was located. They were very knowledgeable and patient. The only drawback right now is they've only got one bathroom for seven people because one of them is under renovation, but everybody just seems to get along well."

"I am a resident of Journet Place. They have activities for the residents like bingo and pool exercises now that the weather is getting warm. Insurance companies also come in here. They don't provide any meals, but the staff that I met were very good."

"The Hacienda Village is for people who are 55 and older. You can either buy or rent the trailer or pre-fab home. The one that I am living in is very good. They have all kinds of things going on here like music, fun, and stuff like that. For every holiday or whatever it is, they have parties. Everybody cleans their own place. Management is fine; everything is OK. They do keep up the property and everything. "
