The place is small and they don't have any activities for the seniors. The backyard is a dump and unsafe. It's male and female facility. The male side has four beds in one room, no privacy. It's not 24hr service, the owner is frequently not there or available. The showers are not safe for someone with disabilities or handicapped. Take your loved one somewhere else.

Homes Sweet Homes ALF was clean, and they had cameras set up, making sure that it was secure. However, they had male and female residents together there. It's a single-family home with the residents in separate bedrooms and a common living area. It's just so small and there was a gentleman there in his bathrobe, that kind of thing. There's nothing wrong with the place, but the way they had it set up wouldn't work for us. The business owner wasn't there at that time. We talked to her on the phone, but her mother was there, so she lives with her, too. They provide three meals a day and all the standard things. There's just not a lot there other than it's a single-family home that's caring for residents. They have a couple of private bedrooms for one resident and a shared bedroom where they had two beds in one bedroom. They told us that it was perfectly fine to bring in my mother's own staff or nurses and CNAs to sit with her during the day. They were very nice; it's just the wrong fit. It was a little bit older house.
