Therapy was excellent and they got me on my feet much quicker. The nursing staff they were very good at responding to my call light and what I needed. While at home, I was able to remember what I was trained with from therapy and made things run smoother.

I was a patient at Brentwood after having neck surgery which left me without the use of my arms and legs. After 10 month with the help care and compassion of the wonderful staff I am walking again. The nursing staff is incredible and the therapy department is phenomenal. Especially Kristin in therapy. This staff encourage me when I was ready to give up and pushed me to keep fighting. Thank you so much for all you have done for me. I owe my success to this staff

Second time at Brentwood and I have to give it 2 thumbs up. The facility is clean and decorated for Christmas in every hall. The staff have been great to me and it's nice to see some of the familiar faces that genuinely care to see me and ask how I'm doing. I had a stroke again and it's very difficult to use my phone but wanted to use my voice to say how much the facility has improved since my last stay. Thank you to everyone that has helped me and gave me some Christmas joy during this hard time. I can already tell that I'm getting stronger. Therapy works when you have a good group.

I was sent to Brentwood from the hospital after I broke my right hip. I had to have surgery on my hip. I was scared at first and don't have a lot of family in Florida so I'm pretty much on my own. The staff has been kind to me even though I think they should have a few more aides on each hall but they do the best they can. I met a nice therapist that checked me out for my first visit. Very pleasant and informative. I've been now at Brentwood rehab for 3 weeks and I'm so thankful for how I'm improving and for the therapist for helping me feel like I'm not alone during my recovery.

I had a family member in this facility about 2 years ago and he is still doing ok. I'm the patient now and I must say that Brentwood has improved a lot. I could definitely tell that the cleaning crew is hard at work, nurses seemed happier but busy, and so far, the therapist have gone above and beyond to get me back on my feet. I still have some work to do and they'll get me there. They play music in the gym and offer cloths donations if you need. I like to sing so the music makes going through rehab enjoyable. Overall, I'm glad for my second experience so far and can't wait to get my life back.

My mother was there and I was very happy with her care. She thought staff was helpful and cared for all her needs. Food was alright and therapy was very helpful and efficient. My mother enjoyed VFW Bingo and the Music Socials, would again place my mother there if needed.

My Mom was there twice. First time, a year prior was a good experience. She recovered nicely with their rehab and home health. This time, after 3 months in their care, she is worse off than when she went in. I had to tell them what to do and what level care she needed. They gave me financials that said after her 1st 20 days there would be a $0 co-pay and yet now, they try to bill me for $27,000 without any kind of itemized statement. No communication on her care. They even changed her insurance without approval. They even tried to block me from moving her to a much better center near my home. It took 7 weeks to get them to comply. No cooperation at all. People don't answer the phone or return calls. I would NOT recommend this facility for any kind of rehabilitation needs.

I was a resident there on 2 separate occasions. Rehab twice. The medical care and rehab facility are excellent. The nurses and aids are very efficient and caring. There are social activities if you care to participate. The rooms are cleaned daily by housekeeping staff. I would have no problem placing a family member there.

I have visited many times as a Healthcare provider myself. I can honestly say it is one of the best Skilled Nursing Facilities, From the cleanliness of the rooms, the excellent outcomes for the patients which is, due to the excellent clinicians who provide the best patient care. The Executive Director always has the patients best interest at heart. I am also Impressed with the Marketing Director who is also an amazing advocate for her patients. Highly Recommend this community

If I could give a zero I would. No diabetic diet or selections and roaches in the rooms. I broke both legs and family had to bathe me and bring me my meals because I am diabetic. The social worker is a joke. She promised to make sure all this stuff was taken care of when I left. Did not happen. They canceled the home visit. Therefore insurance would not get any equipment for me. Home health had to do it all and it took a few weeks. It is awful what I went through there. Most patients cannot tell family what it is like there. The therapy team is great! Nurses are nice but take a long time to answer the call buttons.

I have been very pleased with the staff and facilities at Brentwood. The nurses and staff are caring and go above and beyond my husbands needs. He is so happy there and is thriving. He is recuperating from Guillain Barre Syndrome and has been in various hospitals for 8 months. This has been a great experience for him, and not all have been. I am glad we found this facility for him. He loves PT, physical therapy, and is impressed with the number of machines they have to help him. The therapists are caring but push him to work as hard as possible which has my husband further along than we thought possible. He can see himself getting well and going home. Our goal is to have him healthy, happy, and home. It is their goal also.

Health Center At Brentwood is OK and looks acceptable. They are doing what they're supposed to do. My dad is in the level 2 rehab program right now because he broke his foot, and they're trying to get him back on his feet. When I see my dad eating, he's been fine. The therapy and the staff working there have been fine as well. It's an older facility, but it's clean and good. The nursing staff has been very helpful. He gets his food trays on time, and the food looks fine. The property is nice, and little bunnies hop around outside. It's a great value. I walk in there different times of the day and night and I never have a problem with them.

Please do not send your loved one to this facility. This place is not equipped for Power outages and they can not handle Alzheimer patient care or any other mental disorder which need to be on a lock-down hall. They have a long-term care halls and rehab halls; nothing is locked down. Recently they started mixing patients in both areas and taking in patients who are violent, hitting and harassing other sweet elderly people who are scared to death. Nurse Administration does little or nothing about these violent patients who should have been Baker Acted after 2 or more instances. During Hurricane there was very minimal lighting in halls, no lighting in bathrooms for patients or shower areas. No air conditioning, nor large fans to bring fresh air through the halls. The place was beginning to smell. I urge you... Please Don't put your family member in such a position to be scared and have Nurse Administration not doing their jobs.

My mom was in Brentwood. It was a locked unit, but it was not memory care. It was skilled nursing. It was a nightmare at Brentwood. They brought her in for assisted living after she had had double subdural hematoma. They would give her her medication, but other than that they just set her at a table in front of the nurse's station. She sat there for 7 weeks. She ate there. She did no activities other than the one time I took her in to have her nails done. They wouldn't involve her in activities either, to the point where she sat on a chair like it was a doctor's waiting room chair. If she said she didn't want to do it, they didn't pursue it any further, or check out any other activities. I don't like it at all. Some of the staff was very friendly, but I don't think they're very efficient.

My mother's been there for 3 days now. That's where she wanted to go. It's fairly close to where I live. It's fairly good as far as the people there, but having hospice follow her is a very big plus.

Brentwood was a very nice facility. It appeared clean and very confortable. We were there often so my mother-in-law received top notch care. She was turned and cleaned on a regular basis. The staff seemed very concerned with her care as well as how we were dealing with her illness. They even offered for the kids to go swimming in the pool at the adjoining assisted living facility. When doctors stated that my mother-in-law would not survive much longer she was placed in a private room so that the entire family could spend as much time as possible with her. After she passed the staff was very compassionate and assisted us during a very hard time. They handled her passing very professionally and left us with the feeling that our loved one was taken care of during her illness as well as after her death. The only negative thing I found with the facility was that I am not sure that residents without family received quite as good of care as those that did.
