"My mother was a patient there for 5.5 months, December through May. We could not have been more pleased with the care given her, the compassion & encouragement shown her, and the assistance provided to us, her family members. Lots of support and activities are made available for the patients and residents. Mom's only complaint was the food -- which is understandable, when an institution has so many dietary restrictions to attend to -- though she loved the meat loaf. :o) Kudos to the entire Arbor Trail team -- you are in a challenging and often unappreciated line of work! Thanks for everything."

"The rooms are two patients to a room and several are four patients to a room. My loved one actually likes being in the four patient room over being moved to a semi-private room. The facility is a bit on the older side, but quite functional Everything is clean and organized The staff is kind, caring, attentive, and gentle. My loved one is well cared for and the staff know her by name. The staff are up lifting and interact with each other with smiles on their faces. After observing the staff for several hours on a weekend, I found everyone to be thoughtful, kind, and respectful to the patients and that the day ended with the same smiles that the staff started out their day with. The admissions office is extremely knowledgeable and prompt in their responses. The business office is wonderful and made themselves available to answer all my family's questions. The activities director is very active with providing the patients with fun activities and also works to help each patient through their personal issues such as missing their family and how to set up video calls for the patient to have with their families in an attempt to help them to adjust to their new normal. The social service office is welcoming, supportive, caring, and willing to help in any way possible. The staff are prompt with checking the patient's vitals 24 hours a day. My loved one had a drop in their blood pressure during the night and the staff took prompt action to address the issue. Having been in multiple facilities across the country, I am most impressed by the attitude and caring hearts of the staff at Avante Inverness. That means everything to my family and I. "

"My aunt has moved into TimberRidge Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. It's very good; they're attentive, provide good therapy, and decent food. They look fine to me, and clean. They have good COVID precautions; coming in you get your temperature taken, and the do a form, and all that. The staff is very good and very attentive. The assistant that she had, Leonard, she thinks the world of him because he's very helpful."

"I went to Bridgewater Park. I like the set-up of the rooms. I wanted a two-bedroom, and they had a nice one that I liked. I liked the balconies. And it's close to where my friends are. The staff were very friendly. It seemed like a pleasant atmosphere. The food seemed good. That's where I was planning to go. Their courtyard was nice, too."

"I question how much time some of the other friends and family spent in the facility that have given such poor ratings. I was there pretty much all day every day while my husband was getting wound care and therapy. I found the staff to be usually friendly and helpful. They called all of the inhabitants by name and knew one on one information that showed they seemed to care about the individual. Any problems we had when we first got here (we were new to rehab and didn't know what to expect) were addressed and/or explained. I had spent quite a bit of time in the hospital with him and I found the nursing care to be on par and the interactions to be more positive and of longer duration. If a facility was needed again I would have no problem suggesting Heron Pointe. No one ever wants to be away from home and the care is never as good as when Mom is the nurse, but the staff tries to make it comfortable and safe and the physical care was always on pointe."

"My mother is at Oak Hill Health & Rehab. It's a pretty place, it's brand new, and it's only a year old. They do a pretty good job. They do a decent job probably better than some of the other rehab. I really can't complain about the rehab. It's very clean, It's nice, and it's good. They have good aides. The aides are very friendly and very nice. It is a good place. The aides like her. They do whatever they're supposed to with PT. There is one thing I have a comment on and that's the scheduling. They don't tell you the schedule when you're supposed to be in PT. But other than that, everything else is good. The chef is good, so the food is very good. The activities are pretty good. They take them out on outings, they have crafts, they have trivia and questions, and they have movies with popcorn and stuff. They try hard. I would give them a 5 because they don't lose her clothes, they do what they say, and they bring her to activities. The staff are very good; they're very nice."

"The service at Spring Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center was very good. The rehab program was excellent. The staff was pretty good. Most of the time, they were attentive. The food was good and served in the room. They had bingo. My room was adequate with two beds and a bathroom. The environment was quiet, and they cleaned the place every day."

"The rehab program at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Spring Hill was excellent. I had a private room, and the meals were served in my room. The food was excellent, like having home-cooked meals. The staff was fabulous. They were always cleaning every day."

"My mom was in Evergreen Woods for a couple of months. The staff was good. Her room was very nice. It had a bed, a nightstand, a TV up on the wall, and any kind of medical equipment that you would need. They had bingo, arts & crafts, and rehabilitation. It was very nice and clean. "

"Brooksville Health and rehab is very clean. The worker is very attentive and seemed to take care of the people really nice. I like the staff. They have hospital bed, TVs, and a lot of activities on the board every day. They allow for somebody to have a pet like a dog, some people will bring a dog in the facility. I think it’s cool. "

"Hawthorne Village was very nice if you are independent living. But if you need assisted living, it is a totally different atmosphere. The residents were up older people, but they were all pretty getting around well themselves. As far as the staff goes, when we went there for our first tour, there were only 2 people at the front desk. Then after about 8 o’clock, they lock the front door and if you are a tenant, then you have keys or whatever you need to get in. But after about 8 o'clock there is nobody there; they leave. It is nice if you wanted an apartment because that is basically what you are getting. If you go to the assisted living part -- and that is why they move you to another building -- then that is staffed 24 hours a day. But that other building is not the same, and we didn’t care for that area. As independent living, it’s probably a 5. But as of assisted living, with the room that they showed us, it looked like a broom closet. It was very tiny and very oddly shaped; it was a very strange layout. My dad is always not willing to go to a nursing facility or assisted living facility because if what Hawthorne has to offer for assisted living is what he does not want to go into. As far as independent living, it is a beautiful place, and I could rate it highly. "
