I toured The Addison of Oakleaf. Carly was the person I worked with. She was very knowledgeable about the area and very easy to work with. The size of the rooms was nice, with more than enough room for somebody who was single and staying there by themselves. It's really nice. It was all clean, and there was no bad smell or anything like going to a nursing home or places like that. There was no smell at all. There was a smell, but it smelled good, like it was fresh. The dining area was nice. It was clean, and everything was good. The people there seemed like they enjoyed it. The parking has plenty of space.

The Addison of Oakleaf was very nice and very homey. It didn't seem scary for the people going into memory care. However, the staff members were not knowledgeable, and they appeared very confused. They didn't know anything. They couldn't provide a price or confirm if they had any availability. I said, 'Can you please have somebody call me back?' They did eventually call, but it was after I had already filled out the paperwork for my mother to go to another facility. In all actuality, I might have gone with The Addison for my mother because it offered a reasonable price, and the facilities were very nice. However, their staff kind of dropped the ball in this situation.
