My mom has been at Clearwater Center for 4 days now. So far, she's doing well. The staff that I have met so far has been excellent, very caring, very professional, and very willing to help in any way. I was very pleased. Her room is very small. It's more like a hospital room, and there are two people in the room. It's not big enough for her to have anything. I could not even bring her recliner chair. It's just a bed and a very small end table and a closet. It's a nursing home, so you would kind of get the hospital feel. The dining area is just a room with tables in it. It's very, very bland. I have not had a meal there, but my mother said that the food is good. They have a very small room with just a few chairs that you can go outside that's covered, but there are no grounds. They have an activities director and there are rehab specialists, so they get a lot of care that way. And then they do have other activities that they offer just to keep them busy. Considering that mom is getting advanced care, I would say their price is quite good.
