The Residence at Village Green

We moved my mother to the Residence at Village Green two years ago, and I have to say we couldn't be happier with the care and attention being provided by the staff and management. Since we have been there, there has been a major focus on staff development, care expectations and guidance. Susan and her team go above and beyond to create a caring, safe and involved atmosphere for the residents! They are always doing fun things with the residents, whether it is decorating and celebrating holidays, musical guests in the gathering area, or the list of activities for all that wish to join in (thank you Demi, you Rock)! I also want to give a big shout out to Kristy, Chantz, Jessica and Shia...just to name a few (as I am only there during the day shift), and there are many more. It warms my heart when my mother says "the staff here are really nice, and they work so hard"! If you have a family member or loved one in need of assistance, I encourage you to take a tour.

Long term care is turning into mental wards .residents with Alzheimer's roam the halls.Blisters on their feet are licked by the live- in dog. They do not wear a mask.And pee in the halls.Some try to come in your room.Carpet is old and stinks.uncleanable.My roommate in hospital with covid-19

My Aunt has been here for a few months. The staff thinks they know more than the Doctors do, the manager has no problem harassing clients or their families. The staff treats family like trash and will not follow any medical orders that are given by anyone with a real degree. Even my Aunt has expressed concern for her safety with the way the staff acts, we are moving her out of this place and into a facility that cares.

My relative is in The Residence at Village Green. It is excellent. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff is caring and helpful, and the dining room is nice. The activities are varied, and they offer something for just about everyone.

We chose Village Green because they will put both of my parents in the same room. They are wonderful. It is a brand new place, and it is clean and sunny. They have bingo in, they go across the street for bingo outs, they have cards, and they have a book club. The food is very good and very nice. I like that it is small, and they are very friendly.
