"I had a room all to myself. It was large and had plenty of room for my wheelchair and a recliner. The bathroom was my favorite because it was large and fit my wheelchair. There was a bench in the shower that made showering easier. The food was good. If something was forgotten the CNAs would run down to the kitchen and get it for me. The head chef would visit every Monday and Friday to check in and make sure my meals were great and if there was anything she could help with."

"Life Care Center of Colorado Springs was our favorite. That was the one we were going to use until everything changed. The staff members were fantastic. The lady who walked us through, as well as the receptionists and everybody we saw in the halls, were very nice and pleasant. Even though they were busy, they smiled or did a little wave. It was great. Mom is from Spain, so she has a handful of friends that would come and visit. We were very happy with the private rooms, because there's more than enough room to accommodate them. Everything was clean. We thought it was wonderful. The dining area was wonderful, too. They had everything up on the wall as far as menus. They had pretty flowers. It was very inviting."

"This assisted living facility has a wonderful and caring staff. They always make sure that the patients and visitors feel comfortable and welcome. The facility was well organized and clean. The food is excellent. There was always someone asking the patient if he needed anything and asked me if I needed anything. They also were very friendly and I could tell that they were caring and compassionate. The administrative staff always called me to keep me posted about the patient and in emergency situations which I appreciated very much. This facility also sits in a nice quiet neighborhood so it seemed peaceful day and night. That gave it a relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone who has a loved one that needs extra care than can be provided at home. I can't say enough good things about it. "

"I was sent to Terrace Gardens by Grandview Hospital three weeks ago for a 30-day respite stay. I was, for all practical purposes, bedridden. However, thanks to the very focused health care professionals who work here, I am up and about and semi-ambulatory. The standard of care at this facility is very well balanced. Nursing care, weekly visits by the staff doctor, nutritional planning and diet, rehab classes, housekeeping services and daily social activities all contribute to successful recuperation and favorable outcomes. I am so impressed with my progress that I have elected to complete my full 9 to 12 physical therapy program as a full time resident here. I am confident that the continuing care I receive will lead to my full recovery and prepare me to resume a fully independent life and lifestyle. Mr. Terry L., Facility Administrator, is to be commended for assembling a very fine group of professional and service staff whose well directed and focused efforts work together seamlessly to deliver a health care environment well suited to attaining successful outcomes. The fact that all of the staff genuinely respect and enjoy each other's company is a bonus which does not go unnoticed by the residents. "The Facility is clean and newly painted. They allow patients to smoke outside the front door. The staff is not so friendly. They are rude and do not acknowledge that you said hello to them. Every time I am visiting my friend there it takes anywhere from ten minutes to two hours for a nurse to come to the room after the call button was pushed. The food is great. On Friday's they have activities that the residents may or may not participate in. They also have trips where they go fishing or to Wal Mart. They will help the patient with bathing and make sure that their rooms are clean and tidy. If you ask they will generally let you take the patient out for a walk and there is a park less than a block away so that is nice to do. Their are no doctors on staff but they do take them by shuttle bus to the doctor's office when needed. So overall the care is good but not great. They have private and shared rooms available. "

"Slightly dated facility but that's more than made up for by the staff's professionalism, level of care, compassion, understanding, and dedication. We transferred my 100% disabled (VA rated) father (Vietnam vet suffering from too many Agent Orange ailments to list, leukemia, dementia, blindness, amputee, etc) to this facility several weeks ago. The staff was incredibly flexible and did a great job working with us to place him with a compatible roommate/situation and to understand his complicated condition. Even with dementia, in his good moments pops expressed how comfortable he felt there and how much he liked the staff (which he hadn't expressed at his previous, newer facility). We visited him several times a week, unannounced, and always found the staff to be kind, compassionate, caring, attentive to the residents. They kept me abreast of all developments/issues with pops, and sometimes called me daily. I appreciated this level of attention to detail and communication. As a military retiree myself, I am very demanding and believe in accountability. Especially after having battled the VA for years to secure my pops' benefits and dealing with issues at his previous facility, Sadly, pops passed a few days ago. The staff's compassion was heart felt and real--they took a little time from their busy schedule to talk with us, share stories, share their own sadness, and provide encouragement. This made my family and I so much more appreciative of them while reinforcing that we made the right decision to have pops stay there. Can't say enough about this wonderful team and though pops is no longer with us, I plan to visit them again soon and periodically to let them know they are making a true difference."

"Rooms are a good size. The facility is very homey. Not overly big like most that seem to swallow you up and turn you into a number. The staff make you feel like family. The food is good and they give a decent sized variety of options for each meal. They have a lovely outdoor area and always have activities going."

"My mom is now at Mount St Francis Nursing Center. We chose this one because we needed full skilled nursing, we needed that would take Medicaid, and her pastor recommended this place. She has been in quarantine for 14 days and that's over with. The nursing staff called me a couple of times about some incident, but the administrative staff was very helpful in getting everything taken care of. They got bingo. She doesn't really play bingo, but she goes and watches it anyway. She can't get out of bed by herself, she can't get out of the wheelchair, she is pretty much taken care of by the nurses 24 hours a day. The meals are included."
