The Facility is clean and newly painted. They allow patients to smoke outside the front door. The staff is not so friendly. They are rude and do not acknowledge that you said hello to them. Every time I am visiting my friend there it takes anywhere from ten minutes to two hours for a nurse to come to the room after the call button was pushed. The food is great. On Friday's they have activities that the residents may or may not participate in. They also have trips where they go fishing or to Wal Mart. They will help the patient with bathing and make sure that their rooms are clean and tidy. If you ask they will generally let you take the patient out for a walk and there is a park less than a block away so that is nice to do. Their are no doctors on staff but they do take them by shuttle bus to the doctor's office when needed. So overall the care is good but not great. They have private and shared rooms available.
