I am so fortunate that I found Lorena Eckert and her staff at Silver Oaks Country Estates. My mother had many health issues and when she became handicapped and lost both of her feet, it became clear that she needed more professional support than we could provide. Lorena and her staff were very supportive. They always treated mom with respect and I so appreciate their friendly human interaction with her. I grew to trust and rely on Lorena's medical knowledge and really appreciate the effort she put into a health plan for my mom. She is very knowledge, well trained and aware of her residents needs. It has been several years since I lost my mom. I am deeply grateful to Lorena and her team for making mom as comfortable as she could be in her last years. I have such appreciation and gratitude for Lorena and her time spent with us until the end. If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely select Silver Oaks Country Estates.

Hello my name Matthew and I would like to give a great shout out to Silver Oaks Country Estates Senior Living in Vista .This place is Gorgeous, Lively, and honestly has The Best Care and People I have found.(And I have seen and talked to a lot of places throughout the North county San Diego area) If you are looking for a place for a family member this truly is the place. My mom is only 69 but has a Disabling Disease called Lymphedema and is not able to care for herself or live on her own at this point anymore. It is truly one of the hardiest things a son has to deal with in life next to death .But when it becomes that time for a parent. Look no further and take a tour here . Lorena and the whole staff make it such a caring, smooth, loving experience for all and are so very understanding with the hard transition for both the family and the person living with them. I am not one to ever really do reviews but I felt the need to do this one for sure.. One of the best parts of Silver Oaks other than just the great care is also the many activities and things they offer to do for my mom and everyone there to keep busy. I truly can’t say enough about the care and love from the staff as well. Thank you Lorena and ALL the staff for your continued care and love for my beautiful mom to live a Happy, Healthy Senior Life with you at Silver Oaks.

Silver Oak Country Estates was very nice. The staff was very kind. I saw them assisting the residents. The facility was clean and nice. The rooms were large, clean, and well-decorated. They had very nice food. Also, they had a chair exercise teacher, an art teacher, and an intergenerational preschool program. What I like best about this one are the kind staff and the nurse.

IT seems like years ago when my mother came to the home there were many activities occurring. Over the years I have noticed more often, on my daily visits, that residents are entertained by watching television and no longer seem to be stimulated mentally, as often. Other than that, I am pleased with the care being provided.

These homes offer great, personalized care. There is a schedule of daily activities and field trips for those who wish to participate. The owner is an RN and other medical staff and others from many domains come right to the homes for dr. visits, PT, exercise, etc. This is a family-owned company, so oftentimes extended family members are there to help with activities, parties and games. The homes and the grounds are beautiful in a quiet, sub-rural neighborhood. Great board and care homes!

My mother has lived at Silver Oak for over 3 years. Silver Oak is a high quality facility for the following reasons: 1. Only 6 residents per home. 2. Two assistants per home during the day. 3. Extremely clean facility. Every time I visit the home is very clean. 4. A feeling that I am walking into a home instead of a facility. 5. Friendly and caring staff. 6. The owner is a registered nurse who is very knowledgeable on senior care. 7. A doctor visits the home to care for the residents. 8. The residents have activities every day to keep them energized. On-site hair grooming is also available. 9. The home is nicely furnished and always neat. 10. The home temperature is well maintained. 11. Each room is unique and has its good qualities. 12. Most importantly, I feel that my mother is in a safe environment. The only improvement would be to offer off-site day trips at an extra cost for residents who are capable of taking such trips.

I am so impressed by the staff and quality of care provided to the residents. I live next door and visit the homes frequently with my kids. The owner Lorena goes beyond what is expected to make the residents feel special by providing exercise classes, music and crafts. She also makes sure to celebrate each resident's birthday to make them feel special. I would not hesitate to move a family member into these homes. And what really impresses me is the fact she allows her residents to bring their pets. Lorena truly shows compassion to her residents and the transition they must face.

My mother has been a resident at Silver Oak for 2 years. I can say without a doubt, there is no finer care facility in this Country! The staff ensures the most compassionate, personalized and loving care! The patient's and their families are treated with respect and tenderness! The facilities and grounds are beautiful, well maintained and comforting. The food is bountiful and all home cooked. I cannot say enough positive things about the owner, Lorena and her staff! If you are at the stage in life when you need to find a place for a loved one come to Silver Oak. You will not be disappointed!

Lorena and her staff are wonderful. They have a great deal of experience in dealing with Alzheimers patients, and they are patient, kind and loving. Silver Oak is an oasis of peace for Mom. The food is fresh and healthy, the facilities immaculate and new, and Mom loves the activities and especially the rose garden. We've looked at and tried many other facilities, but Silver Oak is by far the best.

As a Home Visiting Physician, I see my patients at many different Facilities. Silver Oak Country Estates is far above the rest. It is the place I would choose for my own family member - in fact I would live there myself. I love the gardens, the staff are professional and friendly. The food looks and smells delicious. My patients are happy and well cared for.
