We took a tour of Royal Oaks Senior Apartment. We saw the property. It's really good. We met with one of the girls, I was really impressed with the facility, the swimming pool, and the grounds. They had an exercise room, activity rooms, and what we saw we were really impressed with. The staff seemed really friendly, helpful, and cooperative, and the price was good.

I liked the location of Royal Oaks, and I’ve been here for four years. It’s homey to a certain extent and comfortable. We have security, and they have enough activities for us. The people working here are well-liked. I like it here, and I’m happy here.

Royal Oaks (Escondido) was very nice, but that didn't satisfy me location wise. It was too far away from my daughter. But as a facility, it was very nice. I like them because they had two bedroom apartments and these had two baths. So if you wanted to share a place with someone you'd each have your own bath, which is a nice feature if you wanted to live with somebody. Before I saw this place where I am in, I wanted to go to Royal Oaks because I liked it very much. But I got information from some people that lived there that they weren't too happy with the management. And, they didn't have an on-site manager. He lived off a site, which I don't like.
