I like Solstice Senior Living at Lodi. I used to have clients there when it was called something else. Under new management, I'm not sure, but it was nice when we toured it. My dad just couldn't get the apartment available on the bottom floor. The staff was nice, and they're all happy people. They've got a lot of activities, and it's a larger place than my dad's current community. I had a nice meal there.

Solstice Senior Living at Lodi was very nice. Their little studios were quite small but you could go out any time. They had a nice living room area and there was somebody there playing music which was nice. They also had a nice dining room, a laundry room, and a library. Since its independent living, I didn't see a whole lot of staff members, but the lady that showed us around was very nice.

Solstice Senior Living at Lodi is an older facility, but it was more than adequate, and the people were nice. They have a couple of exercise bikes and playing cards.

The Vintage couldn't have been nicer. They were very supportive and very informative, but it was unfortunately a little over my friend's price range. The rooms were very nice. It was medium sized for a bedroom and it was very clean. She said the food was very good. The residents were very happy and they spoke very highly of the place.

The Vintage was fantastic. When you walked in, it was wide open, and people were friendly. Everybody was smiling; all the people that lived there seemed happy. They were eating, and the food looked good. They had an open space where you can go meet people and watch TV. The studio type they showed was on the first level where I wanted it to be. It was open, it had 2 large closets, it had a cooking area, and it had a lot of good stuff.

I loved the Vintage; it was really awesome, and if I had money I would be there today. It was somewhat expensive when you add up utilities and food that you buy. The staff welcomed me and made me feel right at home. I felt part of the family. The room I saw was very nice; it had 3 closets and looked adequate.

My mother is a resident at The Vintage. They are the absolute best in town. We checked out quite a few, and online, they have the absolute best rating. Having experienced it first-hand, I can agree. The bad part is that they have been going through a lot of management changes. Other than that, the employees are wonderful. Socially, they have wine hour, bunco, movies, outings, exercise, line dancing, fashion shows, and accredited singers come in and sing. We love The Vintage.

The Vintage was very nice, newer, and very fancy, but it’s a thousand dollars more a month. The apartments weren’t as big, so you’re paying more for less. It’s very nice when you walk in, but I guess you have to pay for that beauty. The staff was wonderful and very nice. They had a library, and they allow pets.

The Vintage is very nice, and the people are very friendly. The food was very good, they had a lot of get-togethers within the facility, and they have their trips outside on a bus. My friend lives there, and she likes it very much.

The Vintage seemed nice, but they just didn’t have the care that my dad needs. He needs more assistance. If he was more independent, it would have been fine, but he needs more care. If I were to pay for more care, it would have been way too-expensive. I would have to hire someone from the outside to come assist him every day, that would be on top of the money that they charge per month, and dad would not have made it. As far as independent-care, it seemed nice. They had the exercise-room, and a nice dining-room. The room that I was shown was very small. The people seemed really nice, helpful, and everything. The place seemed nice, and clean. It didn’t have an odor like some senior places had.

Previously, my mother-in-law lived at The Vintage. It was very good. The facility was very clean and very spacious. There were lots of activities. They had very nice staff and good food.

We visited The Vintage, and the private room wasn't set up to have internet. We use the internet a lot, so it's a big drawback. The apartments looked pretty good. They had three meals, but it would be more convenient if they have a meal that you can order like for dinner. The woman showed us the activity room, and the people were playing different games. They take you to the doctor if you need it. The staff were nice, polite, and very helpful.

I like The Vintage. The one advantage that this place has over the other facility I saw is that they were more inviting. It was about $500 cheaper a month. It was cheaper, but it felt just as nice, and I felt just as at home. They seemed high quality. I felt welcomed. It felt like home. It was comfortable. One good thing that they do also is they don't move you if you have to go from independent to assisted; you can stay in the same room, so that's nice.

We phoned and said that we would like to come and visit The Vintage, and they invited us to come for lunch. We met with the coordinator. She sat down with us and answered any questions we had and gave us a tour. We told her we were just looking. They were very helpful. The residents were just very welcoming. I just felt that it's very homey, very inviting, and very supportive of the clients that live there. Overall, they were very nice. They couldn't do enough for us. They're very accommodating.
Actually, my aunt even paid for an apartment. We even got to that point. The room she chose was big and beautiful. She was downsizing from a big house. That was one of the reasons why she really liked it because another plus for her was a big apartment. They were very supportive. She got all her money back, so that was fine. But they're still very supportive and said if our aunt ever changed her mind they'd welcome her back. It was very positive. We looked at everything else, and that was probably one of the nicest apartments that we saw. The food was good. They're the only ones we saw that offered on-site support through an agency. They come in and they just charge for what needs to be done.

We choose The Vintage and my mom is happy there. She's in the independent living, but they let her have people coming in to help her.

One of the things that I happen to love about this community, is the fact that when you come in the first thing that happens is you are greeted by either the staff, or even just another resident. There are always things that are going on, and the people that both live and work there, actually seem happy to be there. The facility is very clean, and very well maintained. When it comes to any repairs or requests that are needed, the staff tries to take care of the need in a timely manner. There happens to be a snack bar that is open 24/7, and is always well stocked with little goodies for the residents to eat if they every get hungry for a midnight snack. They are close to shopping communities in the area, they constantly go out into the community for outings and eat at the local restaurants. Even though the community is located in the heart of the community, it still is able to maintain that small home away from home feeling that most communities lose.
