"Our second choice for my father-in-law would be Brookdale West County, but it is beyond his budget, and it costs more. It is new, it's really pretty, and they have friendly staff, too. It is also small, and we like that about it. It's a good location, and there are a lot of places around. It's also very well kept, clean, and well maintained."

"My father is in Autumn View Gardens – Ellisville. I like it, and they're doing great with him. He feels like he's trapped, but he needs to be trapped because he's a wanderer. I know he's excited to eat. His room is clean and good. He's only been there about a month, and so far I don't have any complaints. The staff is really good. I had my hip replaced this summer, so I wasn't able to get there, but I talked to the staff on the phone a lot and they were very helpful. I went once just about a week ago. He has a little balcony and a bedroom. He's fine. He has not complained about the food. The staff has been really helpful. They know who I am even when I don't say that I'm my dad's daughter from talking on the phone."

"Garden Place Senior Living Millstadt looked older and so much more like a nursing home than the other places I've been to. They didn't seem to have as many activities as the other places we've seen. What they had was music, some entertainment, bingo, and movies. I also didn't think they had quite enough staff. Other than that, it's a very clean place. The dining room was very pleasant looking. It was a large room and it was open on both ends to the common rooms in the lobby and then the kitchen on another side. It had a lot of windows."

"I toured here. They had a nice garden. They have nice apartments. I noticed they had full-sized kitchens and refrigerators. They were located in an urban area, which is nice for people who don't drive. All the people I met there were very nice. It seemed like a very good community. The staff was very good. He's very personable, very nice, covered everything, and took me around. I liked him and he was responsive to me when I had questions. They had a lovely dark area and a nice activity area. They have physical therapy and stuff like that. I think there was a theater. They offered transportation within 15 miles, I believe, and they were pet-friendly."

"I just recently visited and selected Kingsland Walk as the next home for my mother. She is very excited about moving as she was very active prior to Covid. Now that she is no longer able to drive and live on her own she wants a facility that is nice and provides an opportunity to have a social life again. The staff was all very professional during and after my initial visit. We are working with them now to complete the intake process. Another rating to come post move in. "

"I toured a place called Brookdale Creve Coeur. It's very nice. It has an outdoor space. It has a large pond with a pathway around it. It doesn't have enough outdoor space to sit. It has a nice terrace, but it's not very large. The facilities were nice, but that was my third choice. The staff who toured me was fine, too. The staff seemed to be very top-notch. I looked at the menu. It looked very nice and complete. They had a pool, recreational areas, a theater, and exercise stuff."

"Autumn View Gardens - St. Louis was a very nice facility. It seemed to be clean and updated. My mother-in-law seemed to be very comfortable with the access that they had between the two sections. The memory care was kind of in its own wing, but there was a lot of access between memory care and assisted living so she will be able to go over to my father-in-law if she needed to. So, it was set up very nicely that way. The staff was friendly and there was a lot of interaction between the staff and the residents. They had medical personnel that would come in regularly, as well as someone that did hairdressing. They had a lot of activities. They had a TV room, a chapel, and a craft area."

"In the last 12 months Town & Country Senior Living, has had: 2 Executive Directors, 4 Director of Wellness, High turnover of staff, Unable to get direct email for staff (had to go through main line), Poor communication between residents, staff, family and in house doctor, less than a year it has changed ownership again."

"My parents put my grandmother in this home for her to receive assisted living needs. I really like visiting her her because of the great quality of the home. The nurses and employees are all very nice and treat my grandmother as if she is family. Her room is small but very nice and meets all her needs. The kitchen area is nice as well, and offers good food choices. The bathroom and other areas are spotless and sanity. You can tell they work hard to take care of the cleanliness. There are always several activities going on, and several of the residents are always out of their rooms mingling among each other. It is very friendly and seems like a great place to live. I'm really glad my parents put my grandmother here because she is a good person and she always seems happy when I visit her. I also think she is safe as well. "

"My mom is staying at Mizpah Manor. It is an assisted living facility and it is wonderful. They have the options for furnished apartment or providing your furniture. They have nice size room, with nice bathroom and nice big windows. Everything there is good. The Food is fabulous. The staff is very kind and very considerate. They treat everyone that's living there like it is the residents' home and not you living in our facility. It is a wonderful place. They have movie night every night. They have an activity person. The therapy is available at home care agency. They do medication. They have a courtyard with garden and they are allowed to have pets. I recommend them to other. "

"Harvester Residential Care was a nice and clean area. Everybody seemed like they were doing their jobs. The guy that I talked to was very polite. They had a nice dining area. The parking area was nice and easy to access. Other than that, I didn't see a lot of it."

"I toured The Boulevard of St Peters. The executive manager was awesome. He was so nice, caring, talkative, and guiding us in the right direction. The unit they showed me was two rooms. It's got a walk-in bath and a little kitchenette. The staff was beyond great. The place was brand new and perfect. They had a walking area, which was nice, too."

"Lake St. Charles Retirement Community was a really good community. The layout was nice. We really liked it. The staff was good and friendly, and they provide a lot of services. The rooms were clean and acceptable for what they have. The residents get two meals and they've got a pretty good selection. The dining area looked clean, open, and nice. They have quite a few things they can do."
