Nursing Home Communities in Arnold, MO

"We had to put my husband in the hospital, and they are going to put him in a nursing home. He was in there about eight years ago for rehab. I liked it because they never knew when I was going to pop in. It is affiliated with St. Anthony's Hospital. The place is clean, I like that there is no way you can smell urine or something. The smell in it is more like a home environment. It is comfortable, and they make you feel that you can come visit any time that you want. They don't have a set time for family members to come and visit. You can spend overnight with them if you want to; it is OK because they have their own room. So I think it is kind of a push to make them want to get better -- the homelike environment. It is a nursing home, but it has got some sense of a home in it. It is a professional but a homey environment. The caregivers are very attentive to the residents. Like I said, I like it, and if I had to pay a little bit out of my pocket, I wouldn't mind because it is worth it. "

"Room was great, there are various sizes. Staff was helpful and efficient. My friend appreciated regular activities and Mass on campus. I know a lot of places are struggling, but I really feel my friend is safe, loved and well cared for."

"Fieser Nursing Home was just wanted we needed when my sister had to go into skilled nursing care. The people are very nice and compassionate. The facility is clean, the food is served in a timely manner and looks good. They were very accommodating to my sister's needs, she had dementia and when she went into hospice they were very helpful and worked well with the hospice staff. I highly recommend Fieser in Fenton."

"My mother-in-law moved to Delmar Gardens in Meramec Valley. I like it all. I don't have any complaints. I'm very happy. I feel she's very safe and well taken care of. The staff was excellent. I didn't taste their food, but it smells delicious. The facility is very clean and very nice. What I like about them, they treat each resident with respect, and they talk to them. They don't ignore them. There's a two-door room. They're fine, very adequate. The atmosphere is very good and very pleasant."

"My mom and dad have both been admitted to the nursing home. I didn’t know about FV until the hospital introduced me to Tasha. The staff are helpful the director is knowledgeable and the social worker and therapist really guided us through their rehab stay. "

"My sister-in-law is in Green Park nursing home. She is in the rehab part. So far, so good. The only contact I've had is when we go visit her through the window. I've talked to the staff and they all seemed friendly. My sister-in-law said some foods are good and some are bad. She has an account there where she can order food if she wants. I have talked to the social worker and her nurse to see how they're doing and they have been really friendly. My sister-in-law stopped Medicare and she is in the rehab part, so they pay for so much."

"After trying other facilities Sherbrooke is the first place where I have peace of mind having my family member live here. Medication and other clinical needs are met quickly; diet restrictions are addressed; clean, cheerful room and shared-spaces; fantastic activities; good communication with nurse; everything promised by marketing staff member and nurse has been delivered."

"We liked everything at Integrity Healthcare of Columbia. They worked with us to try to get my husband in there, because that's by our house. They just didn't have any room, but let me tell you, they did everything. That is an awesome and beautiful place. That was our number one choice because it was so close, but they just didn't have the openings at the time. They are all awesome; they called us and checked up on my husband while he was in the hospital. They have activities, good food, and you can get a one- or two-bedroom apartment. You can share with somebody, which would be cheaper, or you can have a room of your own. They have the bedroom, living room, and bathroom. They have a courtyard and it's nice. They have flowers, trees, and little tables, different little things. They got bird feeders outside."

"During Covid my brother had a 3 month ordeal in hospital and at discharge the facility he had lived at for over two decades refused to take him back. Community Care gave him a chance. In my mind this place is a hidden gem. I visited once or twice a week and always found the place clean and bright. Staff always friendly and helpful . Nurses kept us well informed ,valued our suggestions and shared care plans. I am grateful he was able to live in a place where he was so well cared for."

"Both my parents received hospice care at this facility. The nursing staff were wonderful and the support techs were also very attentive and caring. We received lots of communication and staff was very welcoming. Having experienced several other facilities in the area, Manor Grove was very different and gained our families trust through their excellent care."

"My father was in rehab at Bethesda Dilworth. I would have given it a 5, but my dad likes the food better where he currently is. He really liked the place and the staff was friendly and caring. We couldn't go in because of Covid. He said the eggs tasted like powder. That's all I know. He walked and did rehab there. It was a pretty facility and it had a courtyard. I only saw the lobby and it was clean. It's a good location for my father because that's the place that would take his insurance. It was in a residential neighborhood. I would recommend them because of their friendly staff."

"I have seen all three levels in Aberdeen Heights. I had a friend who stayed in the independent living, in the assisted living, and rehab. It was excellent, but very expensive for an average person. You have to be very wealthy to live there. The facility looked amazing. The staff was amazing. It was like living in a grand hotel.They have independent menus with a large selection of food, and it's delicious. They have every kind of activity, like they take them everywhere."

"Have very good service from all of the staff ,the aids and nurses and physical therapists and the receptionists are outstanding .they cater to my dad like he is their dad,they make him feel comfortable . They all respond to any question , concerns and requests. Food leaves a little to be desired ,but is edible,after all they are feeding older folks who are set in their ways. I give a 5 star for overall quality."

"My sister lives in Laclede Groves, a very nice senior living. It's one of the better ones to be in and is run by a Lutheran group. She's in independent living and has a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment with wonderful neighbors. There's a lot of food that she can get prepared for her, all the time, too. It's just a good place to be. I go there about every week and we have lunch together. There are 3 different restaurants and they all have good food. There are also other restaurants you could go to around the area. The staff is very nice. They've always been very pleasant to me. They have an indoor pool but I don't know if she gets in. She plays Wii golf and does this type of exercise using big balls."
