I like the layout of Orchard Pointe at Terrazza. I liked everything about it, the area that it was in, and the lady that showed us around. It was very cheerful. The rooms were very nice. They're pretty much updated and clean. The whole facility is very clean. The dining area was great, and it was very nice. It was quiet, you didn't get a lot of noise from the other parts of the community, so you could have a conversation in the dining room and not be disturbed by others. This one was very nice, it was located well and was like a real restaurant. They just had a lot of activities, and they had things going all the time.

We've chosen Orchard Pointe at Terrazza. We liked the staff and the amenities. They had a heated pool available, and they were very courteous to my mother who's 92. The amenities for level 1 included a lot of the things that we need at this point. The rooms were certainly bigger than the other rooms we were looking at. They met all our needs at the present time. It's a beautiful facility.

Orchard Pointe at Terrazza was a large facility. They have a wing devoted to memory care. The staff members I met were very nice. The lady giving the tour was fantastic. It's a beautiful facility. I was going to put my wife in there, but they had some concerns about her history of falling. They didn't think they could provide the level of care that she needed, and I thought that was honest of them. I didn't eat there, but the facility was beautiful. I would consider living there myself in an independent apartment. I was very impressed with them. They have shared rooms, as well as private rooms. They have a beautiful outdoor area with a raised garden. It's a very secure facility in the memory care. You needed a key card to get in or out of the unit. You had to furnish the room yourself. You need to bring in your own bed in and other things. The rooms were not super large, but they were adequate. I would have considered moving there myself.
