Terra Pointe Memory Care was a nice place. It wouldn't be my first place only because the other two places we visited were a lot nicer, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be an adequate place to put somebody. They have a good chef in place there. They have a courtyard that they can go out and walk around in. They do field trips often. It looked fairly clean to me, which is good. They have doctors who visit there regularly. They have transportation services available. It seemed like a nice place, and it would be worth considering. There was a smell of old folks in there, but it wasn't bad.

As many of us know, with dementia, it unfortunately includes declining cognitive and physical abilities. The care team at Terra Pointe has shown they sincerely care about our father’s well being. They all work together to ensure he is an active and happy member of their community! They love dad and it shows! We cannot say enough about the friendly, hard working and dedicated staff! His private room is clean and clutter free. He enjoys spending time in the activity room and often is the first in line for meals! The dining staff willingly fulfill special requests for him!

My husband lives at Terra Pointe Memory Care and gets atrocious care. He's been in there for 18 months. His care is terrible. The staff is rude. They don't shower him. He's unclean any time that I've gone there. They're being rude to me and to my adult kids. He says the food is terrible, but I haven't eaten there. They have their own salon. According to him, he just sits in his room all day. I've never seen them come and get him for an activity. What he used to do, he's not allowed to do any more there. He's an avid oil painter. He's a very good artist for most of his life. We pay $6000 a month among all the family and his insurance.

I have been at this facility over 50 times in the last year and a half. It is a nice setting, and one of the few places in the valley with private rooms. The staff turnover is horrible. I can only assume they do not pay the staff very well because they often worked there briefly and then go to a better paying job. Weekends and holidays are by far the worst. Calls for help will be ignored. Bathrooms are locked when the staff has meetings. The residence will wander aimlessly because there is no one to watch them during these times. Sundays, during visiting hours, everything looks wonderful. Often for show and tell days there will be far more staff seen. Some of the staff are truly kind and compassionate. If your loved one is not seriously demented I would look elsewhere. If they don’t know where they are, or what they are doing anyway this place is a good choice fora private room.

My husband has moved to the Terra Pointe Memory Care. I like that it's only two and a half miles from my home, I think the staff is wonderful, caring and very able. But I have questions about the fact that I need to make an appointment to visit my husband. Maybe it's only because of the current CDC rules, but I was hoping I could call and visit him anytime within visiting hours. That was reasonable, but that's not available to me. It's strictly memory care. I have to say that the safety there is the very best. His room is very lovely, very clean, spacious, very nicely laid out and he has a view of the outside courtyard. The staff is very capable. It was very expensive for me, but I guess it offers everything that he needs.

Nice large rooms. No odors. Caregivers shout loudly in corridors to other personnel or patients; this is annoying and unacceptable. Food is good, but menu repeats itself too often.

My wife moved into Terra Pointe Memory Care this January. I have no problem recommending it at this point. I haven't gotten to know their staff yet because with COVID19, I can't go in there, but they're always nice, acceptable, and they do everything that they're supposed to do. My wife is getting better, she's more active, more talkative, and that's a good thing. I specifically picked Terra Pointe because it's just a little over a mile from my house. It's not in a busy place, there's not a lot of traffic, and it's not close to a lot of homes. My wife loves the food. She eats it all the time, and she's usually not crazy about food. They have some activities, too.

Huge staff turnover with caregivers and untrained on how to care for memory impaired patients. Facility nurse does not listen to family concerns. Issues with narcotics and medications not being passed or wrong medications being administered. Patients having food placed in front of them and staff does does feed. Many undernourished patients. Patients sleeping in hallways.
