My dad lived in this home during his last few years of life. I visited him there frequently. The owners did an amazing job of providing high quality care in every respect. From the homemade food to the lovely yard to the pleasant home environment, they tried their hardest to provide residents with a quality home experience. God bless these hard-working people and the valuable service they provide at Desert Bloom.

This is a very nice home that sits on an acre of land. There are lots of trees and shrubs. There is a huge backyard with flowers, shrubs, trees, walking paths and benches. They have a large patio. The house and grounds are very well maintained. They have a swimming pool. They have 10 residents. The rooms are large and sunny. All are handicapped equipped. They do all house keeping and laundry. They do home cooking. All food is made from scratch. They do baking and have lots of fruits and vegetables. The food is very good. They do all 3 levels of care. They have doctors who come in and on call. All caregivers are certified. They transport to appointments. The hospital is close by.The staff is nice and caring. The house interior is nice and clean. They have a large living room, dining room, and family room. They do lots of in house activities as bingo, movies, arts and crafts, entertainment and parties. They go out to the mall and other activities. This is a nice home.

My grandfather is in this facility and we love it! This place is family owned and operated so the employees and staff treat the residents like family. My grandfather is always saying how nice the people are there and how well he is treated. He likes that he can do things on his own time and decide what to eat from a wide variety of foods. While I was there, I saw a nurse sitting and talking to a resident, trying to make them laugh, because they were having a bad day. That is what we looked for in trying to find a place for our grandfather. We are really happy with the cleanliness of the facility also. They offer activites and different exercises for the residents which is a plus. We always want to keep our grandfather as active as possible. This place has been wonderful to him for the past 6 months.
