I live in Mesa Regal RV Resort. I'm in a trailer, but it's a 55+ community. We have a community hall and everyone goes up there and parties and we have a bar and grill and music every night. They brought in a bunch of trailers years ago and you buy this trailer and then some people add another room onto a trailer. You got a carport. It's like a little home but the basic structure is a trailer. I've been here for 11 years now. It's been fun. We have free swimming pools. One of the things I like is the bar and grill. We can go up and listen to music and order some wine and sit there and dance or whatever. Monday through Friday for two-plus hours, you have live music. The residents I hang out with are the most fun people. I learned to quilt down here. They have classes for everything. It's exceedingly clean. The people who work here are exceedingly nice and friendly. The one thing that we all complain about is the rent. We own our trailers, but we rent the property it's on. We have a yearly rental, and it is almost $10,000 now a year. I was paying $5000 ten years ago. They appreciated a good amount, but you got three pools, two hot tubs, pickleball, and tennis. The amenities here are fantastic. Anyone who says they're bored, just hasn't stepped outside of their trailer. I love it here, I would stay here, but it's time for me to go be with my grandchildren. The only thing I didn't like is the $500 increase every year in rent.
