"It is a lovely place; my mother-in-law said it's like a resort hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful in getting my father a lot of medical referral. The care for him isn’t just physical; it's emotional, too. They’ve helped him with the death of my mother-in-law. It’s been really good. The dining area is very clean; he can eat whatever he wants and with good variety. "

"Verena at Gilbert was just independent living, and it's very new and clean, and organized. The staff members were very, very kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. You order the food from a menu and there's a chef, so the meals are professionally done. In terms of facilities and amenities, they have about everything you can think of. There's a pool with a ramp, they have different sitting areas, and they have their regular mail room like the other places. The gym I go to is just a mile and a half away from there, the auto service is just down the street, the nursing hospital is right next to it, and there's a big shopping center close by."

"Fellowship Square Historic Mesa is an older facility but the people there are very nice. It's been a great place, and my mother has been there close to 15 years now. The place that she has currently is an apartment with one bedroom. They have activities scheduled each month. They have a dining room that they go to and the place is reasonably priced. They have a beauty salon, they have a heated swimming pool outdoors. There's also a library with computers in them. I thought the food is pretty good too."

"Oasis At Mesa Palms was a nice place. I enjoyed the visit and the people that were there. I enjoyed the company. The dining area had a kitchen area, and people come out and serve you. They had a swimming pool, and they had exercise. You have the option to go down to the cafeteria and have them prepare your food there, or you could prepare food in your apartment. "

"We like the rooms at Cadence Chandler. We met quite a few people there, and they were very happy with the place. It was exuberant. The staff who gave the tour was very nice. I had a shrimp pasta dish, which was very good. The building is under five years old, but the structure is very nice. They had nice wide hallways, and the room layout was very nice. The rooms and closets were big."

"Atria Chandler Villas was very cute. We liked the villas that they had as well as the models that they showed. The lady showed us five different apartments so we got to see the different facings. She was excellent and personable. It's all independent living so it's like an apartment complex. They have one person on security, but we just wanted something that was more like a gate to where my mom could walk around inside without the neighbors walking in. There's a full-size refrigerator in the apartment, also a stove, an oven, and a microwave. They had a swimming pool and some walking paths around the inside of the complexes."

"It was kind of a very spread-out campus, much larger than most of the other places. They do both assisted living and independent living. I was focused on the assisted, not so much on the independent living. They had a nice little pool and a little putting green. It had kind of a more park-ish atmosphere than most of the other places. If that's what you're looking for, especially independent living, I think that would be nice, but that's not what I was looking for, so I didn't pay too much attention. It was very nice. The apartment had a little kitchenette space. The staff was super nice and very patient."

"It was very, very caring and very gracious. The couple of different people we talked to seemed very knowledgeable. The rooms seemed very adequate. Right now, they're being revamped with new paint, new carpeting, and stuff. The grounds seemed very, very pleasant and very pleasing. They had a library and lounge areas, a theater, a room where they had musicians come in, card games and bingo. One thing I liked the most about it was that the dining room was open all day."

"Mom is here, and it's a great facility. I highly recommend their assisted living facility. She has a one-bedroom apartment. The nurse that works there is extraordinary. I would say that 95% of the caretakers are above average and excellent. There was only caregiver there that I didn't like. Mom is given two meals a day. They provide buses for the residents. They have been helping my mom go to breakfast. They also come in and make sure she takes her protein shake. They offer her snacks. They have a full-time activity director. If somebody doesn't engage, they go out and they try to get them engaged and make them comfortable."

"I toured Legacy Village of Salt River. It offered what I think is important, but the timing for her just does not, she wants to put it off for a year. The staff were all very, very accommodating. They were very informative. They gave you all the conditions and then showed the grounds, the facilities. They were lovely. They publish a monthly calendar for the activities that they have. They have libraries, pools, and a movie theater. The rooms were lovely. They have different configurations whether they were one-bedroom or two-bedrooms, but they were all lovely units. The community is efficiently laid out."

"Let me start off by saying I don’t write reviews!However the Revel is an amazing place to live! We are so fortunate to have found this place for my Mom!The minute we got there everyone was warm and welcoming!The Revel feels like a resort for seniors.They have daily activities from morning until night.You can be as busy as you like!They have workout classes and the Gym has everything you need !I wish my Mom used it more! The Salon does hair , nails and more! MY Mom never looked so good! They play Poker ( my Moms favorite and she’s good)they have musical activities, they sing and they laugh a lot! The Revel is a family! They all care about each other! I’m fortunate to spend time everyday with my Mom and these amazing people! The staff are the most caring and supportive people you will ever meet! They are always smiling and so so helpful!They know everyone by name!There is nothing they won’t do for you! Another bonus are the people who live there! They are the most fantastic people!Who would think at this stage of your life you would make such wonderful friends!They truly are a family! When you go to the Restaurant ,you always have someone to sit with.There are a lot of nice places to live, but if you want to have a community that is caring and just plain fabulous the Revel in Scottsdale is for you! What really makes this place stand out are the people! It’s a family! Everyone is so caring and helpful!"

"My dad has been here for almost 2 years and he feels safe and well attended to for any of his needs. Kathy, the director of nursing is especially attentive to any and all issues that have arisen. Overall we are pleased with the level of care my dad receives at Scottsdale Village Square."

"I really liked it; the people were friendly and informative. They have assisted living and memory care. I thought the facility was beautiful. It looked like they had a very nice program for memory care and lovely restaurant, and the rooms were quite spacious. I thought that the fee structure was really good given all the services they provided. The staff showed us all the different care levels, the activities, and the restaurant, and they reviewed with me all their philosophies and services that they offer. They let me tour some rooms, and it was very nice; I think they had the nicest rooms. I found the facility to be very large for someone who has memory issues. There was no way to be outside if you were in the memory care area because it was on the upper floors, and that was sort of crowded. For assisted living, it was just a long way to walk if you were in the back part of the facility to get up to the front where the restaurant and stuff were. It was too big for my mother."
