Seniors can try various assistive devices, including mobility equipment. All residents can take part in the program without a fee, but devices can only be borrowed for up to two weeks at a time.
Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program(800) 293-9393The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program is a free confidential service for seniors in long-term care facilities, including assisted living. Specially trained ombudsmen act as advocates for residents and attempt to resolve these complaints to improve residents’ care and quality of life.
