"Avista Apache Junction was nice and a little bit smaller. It was all on one floor so you wouldn't have to walk so far. It was just a little more expensive. Linda was really nice and very informative. We had a good tour there. The facility was older and needed some repairs and stuff. It needed some updating a little bit. It wasn't run down at all, but it was not as nice as the other facility I went to. However, some features were nicer at Avista Apache Junction, like there would be somebody to check on you every day."

"I think the most impressive part about Brookdale Apache Junction was the community vibe. I could see people moving around, I saw group activities going on, I met employees introducing themselves to us during the tour, and there were lots of opportunities and spaces. They have places for people to be together and not be alone. They have a beautifully remodeled facility, the staff is trained to do many things to help the residents, and you can age in place if you need more assistance. It was laid out in order to facilitate community bonding."

"I toured Sky Vista. They were very sweet and very nice. Overall, it was great. It was very clean and very nice. It was easy to maneuver around. It was super nice. They have a lot of amenities like cards every day and transportation. They did not mention outings, but they go to grocery stores and stuff. They just had a group of singers come in for the residents. However, they were a little bit expensive, and the rooms were very small."
